I agree with your post... i am surprised he drank alcohol though😲 when he was in Mumbai he said no to drinks because he had promised his daughter no??? I think they'll come back and show it was only cold drinks or something. Seems so uncharacteristic and all that even before he was provoked
I may be beaten by people here, but I will say it anyway. Shagun was right. One way or the other she knows how to rile this man up!!! She knows what buttons to push when it comes to Raman. ALthough the end result was not what she hoped, she did get some reaction out of him.
The way he invited Shagun to the dance floor... I was angry then. My first reaction was "Really Raman??? again??? you want to break your wife's heart so publicly?" When the dance was going on, and Ishita and Mihika were walking out, I was livid. I thought, once more she'll not get to see what he did and why he did it. But thankfully she heard everything !!! Raman Bhalla is not for the faint-hearted, and this episode proved it again. Just when I was dreading that he would go soft on all of us 😆
You are right about re-taking vows. However, I would like to think of it as a real proposal... This is the FIRST time he's asking for her hand. The dance, the speech, the whole spectacle is an allegory! He wants to declare to everyone present, INCLUDING Ishita that he wants her on his journey. No one else. Not because she is the best mother for Ruhi, but because she is a gem of a woman.
The Precap: I am glad they didnt show Ishita melt immdiately too. She is as strong an individual as him, and its natural to have that anger/disappointment still simmering...
Other points:
- Its interesting how everyone in the Bhalla family (even Simmi to some extent) still realise and accept that Ishita is way better for Raman than Shagun ever was.
- the Mr Kakkad & Mrs Iyer story needs to close soon, please. I am not very fond of it, and I dont find it that cute or funny.
- You missed the Romi/Toshi dance 😆 The most irrirating song I heard in recent times, but the dance was worth it

Well yes it was reenactment of vows of their marriage
And you are right he proposed in Raman kumar bhalla way and declared to the world she is his wife and she said yes after initial hesitation
