Toshi Dialogues yesterday

I really hate the way, a jolly character has been ruined. Her love for her daughter aside, she still blames Ishita despite knowing her Son in Law could be in the wrong(her pov). However, what i found even more disgusting was her dialogue Taali kabhi Ek haath se nahin bajthi..like really?? She was trying to justify a henious crime like attempt to rape???!! Disgusting!! Next dialogue that follows something that follows along the lines of he should not have been arrested and uski galti ke liye main ek thappad laga leti...a slap as punishment for rape/ molestation attempt??? For all her dialogues, what did she do when Ishita first came to her?? She's more worried her daughters life is spoiled...like really?? Is being married more important? So what if the husband is a rapist?? And Ghar ki Izzat, her so called respect in society is more important than the dignity of her DIL. YHM is showing reality indeed, bcause sad to say there are people like that in our Bharat Mahaan. However, i would have preferred that the serial give a message that such views are not to be entertained. Raman's lecture apart, dialogues by Toshi is more like trying to justify the crime. Just my pov, not meant to incite the forum. Is just that my blood boils at anything that even has a hint of support or justification for such a crime. Atleast, till she thought him totally innocent the blind support was at least a teeny bit tolerable..even if i never agreed to that pov, still was understable. Hope the YHM team dont drag this track just for melodrama and end up giving proper message, to viewers, that Ghar ki Izzat is not in supporting a rapist, but in standing by the victim, fighting for justice and going against the culprit, be it the son in law. However, Toshi character has been totally ruined in the attempt to make her into the typical saas of Ektaa shows. I dont think i would ever be able to digest her antics or character ever again. Her character is ruined beyond redemption for me.
