lovely_lady has made some valid points. simmi has seen very little of the world, her husband is her everything and her happiness depends on him. this kind of dependant relationships are always a bad sign, a woman must always maintain their own identity- which simmi does not. Her world consists of her baby, husband and maayka. Right now, her world is falling apart- she won't accept the truth easily even if it is right in from of her.people keep saying that sarika should be enough to to convince her but sarika is not very credible. you and I know the truth so obviously we would think she is telling the truth but what about simmi? if this case goes to court, then any amateur lawyer will throw sarika's testimony out the window because sarika lost credibility for lying so much. She also works for ishita, lawyers can argue that ishita manipulated her. so in reality, sarika's encounter with pervert is not incriminating evidence.with all that said, simmi is still awful and disgusting. I understand her POV but the way she treated ishita was unacceptable.
Yes, even i know that the case if it goes to court will not take into account Sarika's testimony as she has lost credibility. However legal procedure is not concluded in a day or two and the fight ahaead is definitely tougher. But, investigation to truth would not stop with sarika..Parmeet has a history of sexual offense, so definitely find more cases agains him...i agree with the point that they have to dig deeper in Dubai. However, as for simi i still woukd say she is brainless and totally blind in love with a pervert. My point was to say that serials can be a bit more responsible and show a different picture of a wife standing up for the right rather than supporting husband through all kind of sliminess, knowingly or unknowingly. But, ektaa would then loose out on other negative character in the making, as three people against the leads is not enough for her.
Anyone with half a brain would think twice...one case against him Dubai, second one by her bhabhi who has gone out of the way to help her due to her goodness of character..then, her brother supporting a victim, even if credible or not. She knows her brother does not love his wife and till date has only ever treated his wife indifferently..but, when he also is taking a stand against her husband, anyone with an iota of brain would at least think, a bit. So, to me she is brainless and i still believe in current times of rising cases of rapes and sexual harrasment what one needs to show is not blind support on perverts but a strong wife ready to speak up even against her husband.
