Completely agree with you

I dont agree that DIL cant be daughters. I Get that from my MIL. She has two sons and two DIL, but she always says (both to me and others) that she has three daughters and One DIL. She genuinly loved me. And could yell at my husband, if she felt he was wrong.

May her Soul rest in peace

That's why her children are mostly like her. Tells one thing one day, then does another things other day.

She should be kept alone in a closed room forever. That's her punishment.

Toshiji playing real life MIL. Practically, MIL watch the TV show and announce to society that their DIL is just like their daughter. But in reality DIL never be daughter. If DIL not keeping them or their son happy they willing to gossip about her in society. And if daughter do same with their In-Laws mother try to cover it up. And yes Son-in law trusted and respected more than DIL. Because it's about their daughters happiness. But when it's time to give respect to DIL, not one MIL I know who take stand for. Most In-laws do not care for their son's happiness like their Daughters. As soon as son comes home they want to complain about their DIL but when it's come to their daughter they teach her how to keep her husband under control. This is what majority issue of society. If DIL working than they want to have her whole paycheck. Where they teach their daughter not let her and husband paycheck go to her in-laws. I am writing this from observing my friends and relative lives.

That's right actually. Real life MILs are really kinda like Toshi...which I hate. But, in my real life, till now I have seen MILs completely opposite to this. And, am happy to see the changing trends. At times, it's okay to scold the DIL, but supporting SIL and treating DIL like a garbage is not done, the message should have been given otherwise.

This is the one character that I am really really disappointed with... I cannot understand even a bit... She was a very funny/witty/caring character, then got all sweet when she praised Ishita... then suddenly this avatar???

OK, she trusts Parmeet more than Ishita, fine... but the way she handled this whole sensitive situation was just horrible. Dont know why the CVs did this to her role...

and you are right. If this would have happened to Rinki OR Simmi, would she have reacted the same way???

Honestly, I feel like Mrs. Bhalla is an annoyingly realistic character. She's very rude, unclassy and ungrateful to people she doesn't know or like. She's only sweet when it comes to her family. Ishita was just starting to become a part of Toshi ji's family (at least in Toshi's eyes).

And while I do agree that she didn't handle the situation well, I can understand where she's coming from. If Ishita had pointed fingers at any one else, not related to her, Toshi would've backed Ishita all the way. But the matter is that Ishita pointed fingers at Parmeet. And Parmeet is directly linked to Simmi and the baby. If Parmeet is outed, then Simmi's life will be destroyed in the short term. She'd be publicly embarrassed, emotionally shattered, and her marriage would break. It's a HUGE deal. Also, it is much harder for a single mother to get remarried than it is for a single father. Plus, she's seen what happened to Raman when Shagun was exposed. And let's not forget that Raman is emotionally stronger than Simmi. Simmi is even more emotional than Raman and I can;t even imagine what her reaction would be. Even imagining her other children, like Simmi, going through the same thing would be so heart-breaking for any mother to think of. Therefore, she refused to even consider Ishita's allegations be true. She's refusing to look at the truth in front of her, just like Simmi. She doesn't even want to think about the fact that Ishita could be right. She'd instead throw and forget that Ishita existed and pretend like the allegations never came up as well. So I could see where Toshi was coming from. She was just reacting like any other scared tigeress mother.

I'm not saying I agree with what Toshi did, but I can see where she was coming from.

She's always been an extremely loud woman who talks before she thinks. And she repeated that behaviour with Ishita.

On a similar note, I kind off hope that the CVs address how Toshi treats Ishita, even before, after and during this situation. It's not something that one can forget easily. I hope Ishita doesn't forgive her right away.

I also hope that the CVs show Simmi separating from Parmeet and the effects of that on her and the family. I know this is Raman, Ruhi, and Ishita's story, but it would be nice to see other story lines as well.

Agree with you. Toshiji doesn't want to support ishita some where she is thinking about her daughter's marriage. she is not doing any good by covering up this matter. Raman and ruhi will also suffer i don't know why she is thinking only about simmi not about raman and ruhi.
