Raman: Ishita... Uto na... Court jaana hai.
Ishita: (In a irritated tone)Raman... Its just 5 in the morning... Hearing is at 2 p.m. Kuch der ke liye so jao na... Poori raat tumhari aankh nahi lagi... Na mujhe sone de rahe ho...Har paanch minute ke baad, yehi kar rahe ho... Aise chalega toh hearing ke waqt so jaayenge...
Had it been any other day, this line would have put-off Raman and would have geared up for a fight but today, Raman silently got up from the bed and occupied the couch. Seeing Raman's gesture, Ishita felt bad for whatever she spoke. She didn't mean to be rude... She wasn't to be blamed either. She had a very long day at work. She returned at 8 p.m. to be called again at 10 p.m. Finally, when she entered her room at 12, Raman was pacing up and down in their room. Ishita was happy that Ruhi was with amma that night. Else, her raavan kumar wouldn't have let her sleep. But, she could understand Raman's state of mind. Infact, she has gone through the same during Ruhi's custody case when Ruhi chose Shagun instead of her. She silently took her night dress and left the room.
After 20 minutes, she entered with a bowl of noodles in her hand. She called out for Raman but in vain. She touched him to bring him back to his senses. He saw Ishu standing with noodles.
Raman: Ishu...Yeh kya hai?
Ishita: Toh aaj jahanpanah ke mood bahut kharab hai...
Raman: Kuch khaas nahi. Waise bhi, tumhare hisaab se toh main hamesha sulky mood mein hi ghumta hoon...
Ishita: Voh toh hai... Lekin itne ajeeb pati hai mera ki pyaar se Ishu tab bhulate hai jab bahut jyada stressed out hote hai...Raman, I understand... Stay positive... Saba acha hi hoga...
Raman: Lekin Ishita, tum Ashok aur Shagun ko jaante ho na... Kuch na kuch saazish karenge...
Ishita: Iss baar nahi... Jeet hume hi milega... Adi has taken a clear stand Raman... Bas judgement baaki hai...
Raman: Phir bhi...
Ishita: Ssh... Enough... Aapne zaroor kaana nahi kaaya hoga. Tumhe south Indian food se allergy hai aur mujhe parata banana nahi aata. Isliye, noodles se kaam chalana padega... Kao...
Raman: Mujhe nahi chahiye... Tum so jao...
Ishita: Raman, main pooch thodi rahi hoon... Finish it fully... Gud nyt...
Raman didn't want to irritate Ishita by fussing more. He knew that Ishita is equally worried. From that moment, Raman has been waking her up religiously after every five minutes for some reason or other... Every time, Ishita tried to maintain her composure when Raman woke her up. But, she couldn't take it anymore. She felt bad for lashing out. She finally decided that sleep is not in her destiny that night and got up from her bed to sit near Raman.
Ishita: Raman. I'm sorry...
Raman: Tum sorry kyon keh rahi ho? Galti toh meri hai...
Ishita: Haan. Lekin sorry bolne ki aadat nahi hai na tumhe, isliye...
Raman: Acha... Aaj kal tum mujhse bhi buri ho gayi... Itna attitude... Itna gussa...
Ishita: Kya kare...Sangath ka asar...
A small smile escaped Raman's lips. But, again, the ghost started haunting him... He held Ishu's hands...
Ishita: Raman. I'm telling you. Nothing to worry. Ghar hum Adi ke saath hi ayenge.
Raman: Sab kuch kitna jaldi ho gaya. Adi ko bachate bachate tumhari accident, Adi tumhare kareeb aana, re-opening of custody case... Aaj time thoda jyada hi slow ho gaya na...
Ishu smiled at the kiddish comment of Raman. She finally settled herself on Raman's shoulders and they dozed off like that...
Later, someone was literally banging their bedroom's door. Ishita reluctantly freed herself from Raman's clutches and made him lie on the couch. When she opened the door, the whole Bhalla family was waiting there.
Ishita: Kya hua Mummyji... Kisi ko kuch hua hai kya???
Toshi: Oye... Hume ye sawaal poochni chahiye... Das baj gayi... Raman teek hai na?
Ishita: Who poore raat so nahi paye...
Expression in everyone's faces started changing and she just realized what she said. She wanted to tell more but no one was in a mood to listen... They left her alone to deal with her embarrassment and left.
Ishita: Jab dekho mere khandan ko ghatiya bhulata hai par yahan dekho... Gutter minds...
In a few minutes, on feeling Ishita's absence, Raman woke up. Finally, time passed by and in the court, Ishita got Adi's custody with Shagun getting visitation rights over weekend. Raman's happiness knew no bounds. Finally, his son is coming back to his home. Yes, though Adi has accepted Ishita, he's yet to come in terms with Raman. But, he knew that Ishita will make everything alright. On reaching home...
Toshi: Aa gaya mera puttar... Itne saalon baad...
She wanted to embrace Adi when Adi stopped her.
Adi: Mom. I am feeling tired. Chaliye na... Kamre mein chalte hain... Main yahan sirf aur sirf aapke liye aaya hoon.
Ishita: Adi...Rukho beta... Gale lagaane ke mann nahi hai toh teek hai. Blessings le lo... sabse...
Adithya did that... For Ishita...
Adi: Waise, Ruhi kahan hai?
Ishita: Ruhi school gayi hai. Shaam ko aa jayegi. Aap jao main aa rahi hoon...
Bhallas were visible disappointed with Adi's cold behavior except Raman who has got used to the same.
Ishita: Main janti hoon ki aap sab udaas hain Adi ko lekar. Lekin, sab kuch teek ho jayega. Kuch dino ki baat hai. Main uske paas jaati hoon.
She left not before giving a reassuring smile to Raman. Raman was happy that Adi is atleast with them and he was sure that Adi will become a nice human being under Ishita's brought up.
In Raman's bedroom,
Adi: Mamma... Mujhe bahar jana hi pasand nahi hai... Inn logon ko dekhna jo padega...
Ishita: Adi... Kyon aisa sochte ho beta... Sab tumse bahut pyaar karte hain... Tumhare saath waqt bithane ke liye tadap rahe hain sab...
Adi: Nahi mamma... Aapke alava aur koi bhi mujhse pyaar nahi karta... Shagun mamma ko dekho... Itne saalo se yeh soch raha tha ki main unke zindagi main sabse jyada important hoon lekin nahi... Unke liye apne SPA, Beauty parlour, Parties ke lava kuch important nahi hai. Uss din jo hua...
Ishita: Adi. We have discussed this before. No badmouthing... Who tumhari ma hai... Beta, aapne mujhe ek chance diya tabhi hum dono ke beech yeh rishta hua... Sameways, don't these ppl deserve a chance?
Adi: Dekhna hi pasand nahi tho move kaise karoonga...
Ishita: Sab hoga Adi... Please...
Adi: I'll do it the way you want it.
Finally, they hugged each other... Raman was happy to see all this... How badly he wanted to join them in their hug... But, he knew that the day is not too far...
