Ishita: Woh sorry... Mujhe woh...

Raman: Its ok. Aaj bhi tere nazron mein Ruhi ke liye ek acha baap nahi ban paaya na mein.

Ishita: Raman...Its not like that.

Raman: Jaanta hoon. Jab tak tum meri zindagi mein nahi thi, tab tak mein Ruhi ko apne aap se door rakha. Uss bachi ko uski maa ke dhoke aur meri kamzori ka sazaa diya...Phir bhi Ishita, mere liye Ruhi aur Adi ek jaisa hi hai. Pehla bacha thoda special hai Ishita. Kyonki sab kuch pehli baar mehsoos karte hain hum. Agar Adi ke jagah Ruhi meri pehli aulat hoti tab bhi yehi hota. Mujhe yeh beta aur beti mein koi farak hai. Same applies to Arjun and Ruhi.

Main na Arjun ko Shagun ke haath dena chahta hoon na Ruhi ko. Main uss waqt isliye gussa ho gaya kyonki tumne Arjun ko dene ke bare mein soch rahi thi. Not because tum Ruhi ke jagah Arjun ko dene ke liye raazi hogayi.

Ishita: I am sorry... Itna bhi nahi samaj paayi mein.

Raman: I'm not upset with the same Ishita. Kyonki main aisa hi tha tumhari aane se pehle. (Holding her hands) Tumne mujhe phir se insaan banaya...

He saw tears welling up in Ishita's eyes.

Raman: Jyada ho gaya na... Leave that aside... Main chalta hoon.

Ishita wanted to brighten his spirits after this lifeless convo between them.

Ishita: Bas itna?

Raman: Aur kya?

Ishita: Kal lecture ka thoda overdose jhelna pada mummyji ko. Mujhe khud thoda jyada lag raha tha. Aapne kuch kaha nahi?

Raman: Pehli baar thodi sun raha hoon...

Ishita: Yeh meri Raavan kumar wali baat nahi hai.

Raman: Tujhme kounsi JKR bachi hui hai? Jab tum khud pareshan ho, bekaar mein mujhe cheer up karne ki koshish kyon kar rahi ho? Bye... Take care...

After failing in her attempt, she returned back to Bhalla house. Romi, Rinky and Mr.Bhalla apologised to Ishita for their behaviour. Ishita settled with Arjun in the hall where everyone was enjoying with Arjun. Raman who returned early was happy to see the same. Time was flying by... Thursday night landed up before they could wink again. That night, for the last time, Raman and Ishita slept with their kids.

Ruhi: Ishima... Papa... Aap dono do din se sad sad kyon ho?

Ishita: Kisne kaha aapse ki hum sad sad hai?

Ruhi: Dono mujhse baat bhi nahi kiya... Main patti ke saath thi poore din...

Raman: Woh... Hum dono ke beech jagda hua.

Ruhi: Kyon papa?

Raman: Ab teek ho gayi beta. Bhool jao...

Ruhi: Ishima ab bhi silent hai.

Raman: Silent hi acha hai Ruhi... Muh kholegi toh bhashan shuru ho jayega na.

Ishita gave a weak smile.

Ishita: Tum so jao Ruhi.

Ruhi: Neendh nahi aa rahi hai... Story sunaiye na...

Raman: Ruhi. Hamesha Ishima hi kyon... Aaj main sunaunga...

Raman was deliberatly making mistakes while narrating the story... He was confusing Ruhi with his blunders. The person whom he wanted to react was lying still hearing to all this.

Ruhi: Papa... Mujhe neendh aa gayi... Aap relax karo...

Raman was not listening to Ruhi anymore. He was thinking about the same Thursday a week before...

Raman: Ishita. Baby ko beech mein kyon sula rahe ho?

Ishita: Tumhe takleef kyon ho raha hai meri har harkat se?

Raman: Kyonki hamesha bewakoofi hi karti ho tum... Ruhi ke haath pair lag gayi toh...

Ishita: Itna akal hai mujhme. Aaj Ruhi mummyji ke saath so rahi hai... Aur ek baat batao, problem sirf Ruhi mein hai ya Ruhi ke baap mein bhi hai...

Raman: Ghuma phirake kya taane maar rahi ho... Himmat rakho yaar... Jo bolna hai muh pe bolo na...

Ishita: Excuse me... Mujhme himmat hai. Problem aapke samajne ke taakat mein hai. Itni si baat samaj mein nahi aayi aapko... Ruhi aap pe gayi hai isliye yeh kick karne ke aadat bhi kahi aapse to nahi aayi na...

Raman: Pehli baar so rahi ho mere saath iss bed mein?

Ishita: Main jhel lungi lekin mere bte ka sawaal hai...

Raman: Kitna bolne lagi ho aaj kal?

Saying so, he started approaching Ishita with a dangerous smirk plastered to his face... Ishita sensed that danger.

Ishita: (In a hurry, pointing towards the kid) Yeh toh so gaya... Main bhi tak gayi hoon. Neendh aa rahi hai. Hum adjust kar lenge. Aap bhi so jao. Good night...

Before Ishita could hit the bed, Raman grabbed her by her waist.

Ishita: (Stammering) Raman... Kal... Kal... Office jaana nahi hai kya... Jao... Jao na...

Raman: Kya hua? Bade bade baatein kar rahi thi... Ab bolti bandh ho gayi...

Ishita: Woh baby...

Raman: Dekho na... Aaram se so raha hai.

Ishita: Yaad aaya... Ruhi...

Raman: Azheimer ki bimaari ho gayi tumko? Abhi abhi bataya ki woh ma ke pass hai.

Ishita: Actually...

Raman: Main thoda madad karoon... Ghar mein sab so gayi... Isliye saari bahane khatam. Koi hume disturb nahi karega. Don't worry...

Ishita was feeling restless. Raman was amused to see this effect on Ishita. He started laughing...

Ishita: Aap chida rahe ho? Main bhi darr gayi thi ki...

Raman: Kahi main sach main romantic toh nahi hogaya. Koi baat nahi hum tumhari vehem ko sach mein...

Ishita pushed Raman slightly...

Ishita: Chodo mujhe... Kahi bhi shuru ho jaate ho...

Raman made her lie down and kissed her forehead before settling down in his side... That moment made him curse the time as to why couldn't it stop there. Now, he was keenly observing Ishita. He couldn't go near Ishita to comfort her because Ruhi was still playing with Ishita's hair. He couldn't see her in pain too. He finally got up from his place in the pretext of taking Arjun and started talking to Ishita via Arjun.

Raman: Arey beta... Ab tak soi nahi aap? Main aapko aise nahi dekh pa raha hoon... Sab kuch bhoolkar so jao... Sab acha hi hoga na...

Ishita understood that the message is for her and looked into Raman's eyes. She saw the concern in Raman's eyes for her. She wanted to assure Raman that she's ok. She used Arjun again to communicate with Raman.

Ishita: Lagta hai samaj mein aa gayi mere pyaare bache ko. Ab aap mama ke haath aao. Papa ko bhi sona hai.

Ishita gave a reassuring smile to Raman and took back Arjun in her hands. Ishita and Raman closed their eyes to assure each other that they have indeed slept but none of them slept the whole night. They somehow knew about the same and didn't want to open the eyes the whole night. They were afraid of facing each other. They didn't want to make the other person weak with their tears.

Next morning, they left early for temple before going to the court... At 9 a.m. , they were in the court... Shagun was also present with Ashok... She tried to look at Arjun's face... But, Ishita was holding him closer to her and held him even closer when she saw Shagun's gesture. Finally, they were called at 3 p.m.

Even the judge was quite surprised after hearing to the facts of the case. Ishita was called to the court stand.

Judge: Are you sure about your decision, Mrs.Bhalla?

Ishita was choking hard... Words were failing her. But, this is the moment. She has to do it...

Ishita: Yes...

But, the judge sensed something wrong. She could see that Ishita wasn't happy neither Raman was. His hands were shaking while he was holding his son. She noticed Ashok's evil smile. But, Shagun... she was genuinely excited to have Ishita's son in her hands. Finally, she decided on what to do.

Judge: Aisi case bahut rare hain Indian judicial history mein...

Ishita couldn't hear anything more... She was feeling dizzy... Her head was spinning. She held the court stand for support... Judge went on and on... She concentrated hard to listen to the Judge... But, she couldn't listen... Neil Pathak touched her hands...

Pathak: Bhabhi... Kya hua?

Ishita: Kya hua Neil? Kya judgement mila?

Pathak: Aaj Arjun ko Shagun ke haath dena hai. Monday, final judgement sunayenge...

Ishita was worried about giving away Arjun to Shagun. She was relieved to know that the final say is yet to come. Miracles can happen... She felt that there is hope... She didn't realise that the worst is yet to come... Raman's face reminded her of the same. She has to give Arjun...to Shagun... now...

She took Arjun for one last time in her hands and kissed him before giving him to Shagun. Shagun excitedly took him in her hands. Shagun walked out of the court room with a victorious smile. Ashok followed her with a evil smile.

Ishita and Raman returned home empty handed... Luckily, Mihir was present with them that they reached home safely after the court hearing. Both of them were looking totally lost. Innumerable thoughts were disturbing Ishita. Raman was lost in his own world.

Toshi and others comforted them...

Toshi: Raman. Mihir ne kaha ki Judge iss case ke tareek aage karna chahte the. Arjun chota hai isliye 2 mahine aage karna chahte the... Tum ne zidd kiya ki iss case ko jaldi khatam ki jaaye. Kyon puttar? Itna chota bacha hai... Usse Ishita ki zaroorat hai. Tum samaj rahe ho na...

Raman: Maa...Main sab samajtha hoon. Lekin iss do mahine mein takleef se jyaada kuch nahi milega. Do mahine Arjun ke saath rehne ke baad aur bhi mushkil ho jayega ma. Ishita ke liye aur hum sab ke liye... Jab isse hum rok nahi paayenge, toh jaldi khatam karna hi sound option hai...

Ruhi returned back from school and ran inside to see if her little brother is safe. On seeing the empty bed, she came out to question her Ishima.

Ruhi: Ishima... Arjun kahan hai?

Ishita averted her eyes to prevent Ruhi from noticing those tears escaping from her tears. Even Raman didn't have answers to her questions.

Mr.Bhalla: Woh puttar... Aa jayega...

Ruhi: Kab?

Mr.Bhalla: Do din me...

Ruhi: Do din... Kyon dadu?

Mr.Bhalla: Doctor uncle ne kaha do din voh unke pass rahega. Isliye... Tab tak Simi bua ke baby ke saath khelo...

Even Ruhi sensed that something was wrong but she couldn't figure it out. So, she went inside...

Ishita: Yeh aapne kya kaha papaji?

Mr.Bhalla: Mujhe aisa lag raha hai puttar. Tu dekh... Kuch toh hoga...

In Ashok's house, Shagun was running here and there... She got everything for Arjun beforehand. But, she is still not done with her shopping. She didn't move away from Arjun. Everything was ordered.

Ashok: Yeh mera ghar hai ya koi Kids stuff store hai? Raman kaafi lucky hai jo unke bachon ke liye baby sitter aasani se mil jaati hai...

Shagun: Tumhare bakwaas na mujhe sunna hai na jawaab dena.

Ashok: Aaj ek party hai. Tayaar ho jao.

Shagun: Kyon? Aur koi nahi mili aaj ke raat? Lekin sorry... Main nahi aa sakthi.

Ashok: Apne bache ko rothe hue chodkar aayi thi tum. Aaj iss bache se itna pyaar kahan se aa gayi?

Shagun: Dobara repeat kar rahi hoon. Tumhare bakwaas ke liye waqt nahi hai mere pass. Kisi ko dhoondh lo aaj ke party mein le jaane ke liye. Aur yahan natak mat karo. Bacha ut jayega.

Ashok: Nonsense...

At 11 p.m. ,on reaching their room, Arjun's things started tormenting Ishita and Raman again. Ishita's motherly instincts were telling her that Arjun was not keeping well.

Ishita: Raman. Ek baar Shagun ko phone karna chahiye hume.

Raman: Arjun teek hoga Ishita. Hum iss waqt phone kaise kar sak...

Raman's phone rang. It was Shagun. Ishita immeditaly grabbed the phone from Raman's hands.

Ishita: Kya hua Arjun ko?
