Hey guys! I guess this is my 1st official post in YHM forum so Namaste to all of you. Today's epi and the spoilers for next week made me do this.
Some of you may know me from various other forums because well I have been here before. Seems like ages since I properly logged in here. Whatever...enough of my rant.đ I am here to do what I am mostly known to do on IF. Write FFs, SSs, and OSs. đ Yeah, another relapse for me. đI can't stay away from IF even though I try so much. Well now that I am already here let's get on with it.

Let me start with the basic idea of this OS. I and my mother were discussing the coming episodes based on spoilers and she said that throwing Ishita out was expected. But Ishita will mostly come back since Ruhi will want her and in the process fall sick. That's when this idea struck me. I mean what if instead of Ruhi Ishita falls sick. So here is a OS based on it. Also I have made the Bhalla's a bit harsh. I don't know about the serial but I think their behaviour here is justified as they think Ishita tried to seduce their son in law.

Ishita was in her room at the Iyer's sitting on the bed with a heavy heart. She was hurt that no one, absolutely no one trusted her in that' house. Everyone blamed her. The messages she could not understand about. But Parmeet had played it well. And so she understood why all of them reacted that way. She had no proof against him but he had against her. But still she was hurt. She had genuinely accepted them as hers. And they had not even considered once, not even for a second, that may be, just maybe she was right. and Ishita had never expected that what would hurt the most was the fact that Raman had not trusted her. Yes he had not outright accused her but he hadn't even defended her. She had all but pleaded to him with the longing in her eyes, to say something but he hadn't. Wasn't that expected though she asked herself? Why would he trust her? Just because for the last few days he had thanked her and teased her? Wasn't all that for Ruhi? It was always for Ruhi. Everything they shared was for Ruhi. He didn't care for her. And that is what hurt the most.
As Ishita came out of her bathroom she noticed for the first time since she had entered the house that her mother had not yet calmed down. she was still angry ranting loudly how those Punjabis could never appreciate her daughter and her efforts and sacrifices for them. For Ruhi. A lone tear again escaped her eye against her wish. She missed Ruhi. She was to put her to sleep. Ruhi would be searching for her now. Ishita sighed and closed the door to shut off the noises from outside.
Ruhi came out in the hall and saw everyone was quiet. Her dadi had her head in her hands as she sat on the sofa with her dadaji whispering something to her. Simmi chachi was rubbing Parmeet chacha's arm. And her papa was siiting at the dining table lost in thought. She slowly walked up to her papa and pulled on his sleeve. When he looked down at her Ruhi innocently asked, "papa? Ishima kaha hai?"
Raman looked at his family. Saw Toshiji sadly looking at Ruhi whereas simmi was furiously looking away. He looked down again at his daughter. His daughter who was like an angel. She was looking at him waiting for an answer. Not knowing about the storm that just transpired a few moments ago in this house.
He lovingly put his hand to her cheek and said, "aapki ishima aapki paatti ke ghar gayi hai."
Ruhi frowned and asked, "par fir mujhe kaun sulayega?"
Raman: Ruhi aaj papa aapko sulayenge. Okay?
Ruhi looked down disappointedly and nodded. Raman's heart sank looking at Ruhi. He couldn't understand what had gone wrong? Just yesterday before he left for Mumbai they were a happy family. Just perfect. His family was happy, Ruhi was happy, Ishita was happy and he was happy. He would have never admitted it then but now after everything had been shattered it felt like a beautiful dream. And he missed it. He missed her. Just few minutes had passed since she left and he missed her. Because she was the reason his life had become perfect in the first place. He sighed and picked up his Ruhi who was sulking.
Ruhi rolled and landed on Raman's shoulder. Raman looked down at her and smiled. He softly brushed off her bangs with his fingers. Before he could not even imagine doing this, having such a bond with his own daughter. Before Ishita that is. It was ironic to him how his life was divided in two parts. Before Ishita happened to him and after. All he wanted to do right now was go get her back. But he couldn't. for that he had to be sure that Ishita was right. he didn't want Parmeet to be wrong, solely for his sister. He knew the pain it caused when you trusted someone and that person betrays you. But his heart just knew that Ishita was right. from the moment he saw her in the jail all he wanted to do was believe anything she said. Not because of logic or proof, but just because he wanted to believe that she had not betrayed him. That she was different from shagun.
And suddenly his thoughts took another route. He looked down at his free hand and wondered if Ishita did betray him was he lacking in something. Suddenly it was not that he didn't believe Ishita but he had no trust in himself. Shagun had left him when he had given everything to her. His love, care everything. And here Ishita was stuck with him in a loveless marriage with nothing but Ruhi to give her happiness. So would it be really wrong of her to turn out like shagun.
Raman shook his head. No. Ishita was not shagun. He looked down at Ruhi. And remembered all the moments he had seen Ishita being Ruhi's mother. A woman so caring and so lovely could never do something like that. Ishita wanted to be a good mother to Ruhi. She wanted to be A good example to their daughter. And for that sole reason she would never turn out to be like shagun, that he was sure of. Soon Raman's conscious started blacking as he fell asleep.

Next day early in the morning Vandita came with Bala to check on Ishita before dropping shravan to school. Mrs. Iyer invited them in and told them that ishu had not yet woken up.
Vandita: par ishu toh hamesha jaldi uthati hai?
Bala put his hand on Vandita's and tried to reason that maybe yesterday's incident had taken a toll on her. Everyone became silent after that.
In the Bhalla house Raman woke up. He tried to get up but realised that there was some weight on his arm. He looked down to see his little bundle of cuddled by his side. He smiled and turned around only to notice the watch on the side table. He looked at the time, and blinked and then suddenly got up. Ruhi got disturbed and started rolling away. She was about to fall when Raman caught her. He sighed with relief and then angrily looked around., grumbling, "kaha hai yeh jhasi ki rani, Ruhi ko aur mujhe uthaya bhi nahi, nahi apne bed mein hai, zaroor apni maa..." he suddenly stopped as he remembered the last night. Suddenly he felt his jaw harden with the effort it took him to stop himself from shouting out loud. He looked back at Ruhi and sighed again. Guess today it would be better if Ruhi stayed home. He smiled a little to himself imagining how Ishita had been here now. She'd be angry that Ruhi was missing her first day to school.
Mihika came running out to tell mrs. Iyer that Ishita was burning up. They checked on her. She had a fever. Bala immediately called up a doctor. But when he entered the room all he could hear was Ishita unconsciously calling out to Ruhi. Her fever was really high. The doctor arrived and soon attended to Ishita.
Raman was searching for his file but couldn't find it. He threw away all his files in frustration and walked out of the house. Just as he came out he saw Bala sending off a doctor. His anger was in an instant replaced by fear and worry. Worry that his in laws had suffered some kind of shock. Fear that Ishita might have done something. Rational part of his brain knew Ishita to be strong. But still he couldn't help the fear that crept up in the pit of his stomach.
He quickly approached Bala.
"Bala. Doctor? Iss waqt? Sab thik toh hai? Ishita thik toh hai na?"
Bala looked at him and said, "sab thik nahi hai. Ishita ko bukar aaya hai. Kal jo kuch bhi hua uske saath who galat tha."
Raman looked down, "janta hu."
"jante ho? Toh phir tumne kuch kaha kyun nahi?"
"who meri behen ka pati hai."
"mujhe pata nahi Raman tum kya soch rahe ho Raman. Par yaad rakhna. Main chup nahi bethunga. Ishita ka naam to main definitely clear karunga."
"Ishita ab kaisi hai."
Bala sighed. "uska bukar uthar nahi raha hai. Who bar bar sirf Ruhi ka naam le rahi hai."
Raman looked away sadly.
Bala looked up at Raman and said, "dekho, abhi if you want to do something for Ishita, please thodi der ke liye Ruhi ko uske pas bhej do."
Raman nodded his head absentmindedly.
When Raman walked in again Ruhi was all set to go to her patti's house but Toshiji was telling her not to. Raman went to Ruhi and asked her to go to the Iyer's. Ruhi smiled and jumped and Raman smiled back. As soon as Ruhi left Toshiji burst out on Raman, "kya zaroorat thi use wah bhejne ki?"
Raman calmly replied, "Ruhi ki custody hai uske pas. Hum kuch nahi kar sakte. Uski tabyat kharab hai. Ruhi ka naam le rahi hai. Hum log itna toh kar hi sakte hai."
Toshiji got angry, "arey kyun kare hum kuch bhi uske liye. Meri simmi ki zindagi barbad karne chali thi. Ruhi uski sangat mein kharab ho jayegi,"
That's when Raman lost it, "maa...aap chahe jo kahe, lekin yeh kabhi maat kehna ki Ruhi ke liye Ishita sahi nahi hai. Who Ruhi ki maa hai, aur hamesha rahegi. Bas." Saying this he went out to the Iyer's house.
Raman stood at the door step and called out to Ruhi. He expected his mother in law to come and shoo him away. But that didn't happen. Only Ruhi came out. Her face was sad.
Raman bent on his knee and asked, "ishima kaisi hai?"
Ruhi just shook her head sideways. Raman caught her hands and said, "she'll be fine. She is after all my jhasi ki rani. Tum bas uske pas rehna. Aur papa ishima ke phone par call karte rahenge toh Ruhi ko apne pas ishima ka phone rakhna hai. Aur jab bhi papa call kare toh papa ko ishima ki halat ke bare mein inform karna hai. Samjhi?"
Ruhi excitedly nodded her head. Raman smiled and gestured her to go in. when he saw Ruhi was gone he went back into his house to change. He had to make sure that Ishita was innocent.
Ruhi was holding Ishitas hand when Ishita's cell rang. Ruhi quickly grabbed the phone and answered, "hello! Papa!"
"yes beta. Aapki ishima kaisi hai?"
"abhi bhi who uthi nahi hai."
Raman got out of the car and walked towards Ishita's clinic. He said, "its okay Ruhi. Jaise hi unka fever utar jayega, she will be fine. Ab papa ko kam hai. Main kuch der mein call karta hoon."
He cut the call and walked towards the clinic.

Okay so that's it. I had actually planned to write further till there was a final ishra scene after Ishita is cleared but I got bored writing. So I wouldn't blame anyone if you stop reading in the middle. Anyways I am highly inconsistent. So maybe I may or may not continue the second part of this. Hope you understand. I tend to get bored writing very soon. too much patience is needed here. đ„± And sorry for no ishra scene at all.đ
