I m sick of this term used in daily soaps.how does wearing shalwar suit makes one a behnji who is living in india.sari and shalwar suits shouldn't be something alien in a country where these outfits are representing the basic culture.wearing western is a choice not the culture. I live in uk and I have seen many Indians wearing shalwar suits and saris proudly and no one calls them behen ji here and the dress is mocked in the country where it belongs.the irony is that girls r judged on this basis and it takes away all their plus points from them just as ishita a successful dentist is mocked by a dumb self centred fashionista shagun.

Totally agree with you...you have made some good points...someone wearing sarees and salwar suits are bhenjis in a country which represents these outfits and the people world over admire and we think it downgrades us...!!

No value n weightage must be given to shagun type characters. Ofc it's drama so for soap ashok-shagun weighs something lol.
