Aani, Great post
Your post is so perfectly timed with the spoilers for next week - are you psychic?😊
I was thinking about Raman's transformation since last week when we were beginning to see the cracks in the wall of hate he had erected after Shagun left him for Ashok with Adi.
The Hate which it seems he erected in his heart agains women, marriage, apshagun, even somewhat Ruhi, love, and worse, himself. The hate which seemed to give him strength to go on, a purpose for being as it were.
Then later I was surfing, and came across this video of Robbie declaring his love for Kasturi in Karan Patel's previous serial. I hadn't seen Kasturi but was curious about his acting then. I have copied the link below . Listen from 00:29 to 1:31. His words that struck me were:
"Tumhaari Qasam. Tumse Nafrat Karne ki Bahot Koshish Ki Maine. Bahut Koshish Ki. Yahan Tak ke Tum Ko Zaleel Kiya, Duniya Ke Saamne, Apne Gharwaalon ke Saamne, Tumhaare Apno ke Saamne.
Lekin Nahin Kar Paaya, Mai Chaa Kar bhi Tumse Nafrat Nahin kar Paaya; Jaanti Ho Kyun? Iski eik Hi Wajaa hai ke
Nafrat Karne Ke Liye Wajaa Chahiye. Lekin Pyaar Bewajaa Hota Hai."
At first I thought cheesy dialogue. Then the neurons kicked in and the light bulb went on.
Of course! Shagun has been giving him reasons to hate. And Ishita? Ishita has just by authentically being herself, has been slowly, methodically, unintentionally taking away his reasons to hate.
No sorry, no thank you needed. No need to stand up for herself. It just unfolds with grace.
She just cared for, respected, and looked out for him and his family and in each and every situation, her truth has revealed itself. Hate cannot survive in the light of truth or love.

Thank you for dedicating this post to Raman and Karan. Its hard to tell where one starts and the other begins.
