Ekta Kapoor says she does not make shows for intelligent viewers... (Basically she is calling us all idiots!)

Ironic that when she first starts shows like BALH and YHM she positions them towards urban liberals and now when the story lines and become warped (especially on her older shows) she is casting stones on her once loyal audience.

Her stories always start of for intelligent people and instead of persisting a higher started for her shows she allows them to become mundane saas bahu shows. I wish she had the good grace to admit that standard of her shows has dropped rather than insulting her audience in this way.

When will indian television channels start holding production houses responsible for a consistently high stardard of content. They air anything? So the production houses also produce mediocre content.

I have not watched any of Ekta's serial's before YHM. But I have heard about how she did butcher her shows.

And honestly the article is insulting and arrogant. It is rude and offensive of her to demean her audience by that insensitive remark.

Maybe she is getting too Big for her own good just like the Fashion Blunder in that article.😆

I read the article and feel that Ekta mata thinks that her audience is not intelligent...excuse me because of us she is getting good TPRs for her shows...!!

I really feel offended as I am an intelligent person watching a few selected shows on TV. This is my first Ekta show and I have a feeling she will start ruining this very sweet urban story like her other shows...!!

Not happy with the remark she has made nor with the article...

oh that's very bad n rude of her to say that but at least she says that

some shows do what ever they want to and asked the audience to shut their mouths and see what they wanna show

at the end of it .. the audience leave the show and then those smart cv's directors ext do what the audience actually wanted but then its very late. so ekta I hope u won't take your audience for granted because its them who give u high trp and keep your shows on air even if they are ruined Like Pavitra rishta

I didn't feel this article offensive. Here she was mentioning about "so-called intelligent viewer" this does not belongs to us. These are people who make or point out lots of problems in any shows... For example some reviewers of movies.

I think she needs to be humble. She comes across as very arrogant indeed. I have never seen any of her shows before. When I started on YHM, people surrounding me kept telling me to stop if I do not want to be disappointed.

But here I am, an unintelligent lady, still watching the show. Hope she does not mess it up.
