In my view,
Ishita did not loose her dignity. Dignity cannot be given or taken away by another.
In fact she conducted herself with dignity despite a horriblesituation. While her thinking was faulty in that it did prevent ruhi from witnessing a scene and that she wasn't capable of dealing with it, once she chose to go ahead with the apology she did do with dignity.
If anyone behaved in in an undignified manner it was Adi, Shagun, Ashok and Raman - they took away their own dignity.
As for Ruhi, she witnessed a truth, made her on evaluation of it and stood up for what is right. If she had heartbreak then she owned it and roseabove it.Yes she was dissapointed in her dad and even perhaps in Adi and even perhaps in Ishita. In my opinion kids are a lot capable than parents give them credit for. The perceive and act honestly given achance.
