Regret and redemption is the first step in healing these wounds. Despite Raman being hurt, manipulated etc he did the unthinkable and hurt the two people who should be the most important to him that have stuck by him and borne his anger ill treatment etc and he definitely has to work hard to win them over.

I believe the regret in his voice and eyes was genuine and this time he will make a concerted effort to change.(at least hope so and CVs don't dissappoint). As he becomes a better father, the father Ruhi wants he will win back his little girls heart and in doing so he will win Ishita's heart. Ishita is tied to Ruhi and vice versa so making one happy will mean the other is happy also. If Ruhi forgives Ishita's forgiveness will not be far behind.
Repentence and Forgiveness will heal all wounds especially when true love is found!

In my view,
Ishita did not loose her dignity. Dignity cannot be given or taken away by another.
In fact she conducted herself with dignity despite a horrible situation. While her thinking was faulty in that she wanted to prevent ruhi from witnessing a scene which she thought Ruhi wasn't capable of dealing with, once she chose to go ahead with the apology she did do with dignity.
If anyone behaved in in an undignified manner it was Adi, Shagun, Ashok and Raman - they took away their own dignity.
As for Ruhi, she witnessed a truth, made her own evaluation of it and stood up for what is right. If she had heartbreak then she owned it and rose above it.Yes she was dissapointed in her dad and even perhaps in Adi and even perhaps in Ishita. In my opinion kids are a lot capable than parents give them credit for. The perceive and act honestly given a chance.

@bold - correction - my hands didn't type what my head was thinking LOL
