@krikumar. - good post. Agree cvs seems to have lost their way by "making" Adi appear a villain. They have made him act older than his age and instead of acting out the have made him very hard. Let's not forget Apshagun are the villains here.

@aimf. - Re : "What makes no sense whatsoever is Adi's resentment against Raman's remarriage. It is not that the father and son had some kind of relationship before Raman's second marriage."

I don't know if you noticed or not... When Adi was standing hidden by the bushes watching Raman put rang on Ishita, what struck me was the emotion that first flitted on his young face, he looked very very sad. Then it turned into envy then anger. Because like his father, he deals with his own vulnerability with covering it with anger. Remember his mum asked why his eyes were red. He was feeling grief/loss first.

Adi did in fact have a loving relationship with father in his formative years before Ashok-Shagun started their affair. This young child loved his father and lost him all of a sudden. Under his bravado and anger he feels abandoned by his father still wants to be loved by him.

I am thinking Ishita is just a symbol of Adi supposedly losing his chance of being loved by/being with his father and his parents uniting (divorced kids often want that). This fear and anger is being projected onto Ishita in the form of resentment.
Of course that the dance was right on top Ishita telling him off about having Bhang gotas and Adi seeing the altercation between Shagun-Ishita-Simmi and misinterpreting it.

What do you think?

This is what I can glean from what's been shown so far.

Hmm yeah this makes sense... actually this was the first thing Ashok said to Adi after bringing him home from his hostel.. how sad his mother is coz of Raman and Toshiji
At the moment Adi seems confused and is ainvayi confusing us 😆

In Adi's understanding Raman has mistreated Shagun so Shagun is the victim in the circumstances for Adi. So for Adi Ashok is a part of the compensation for Shagun. Adi is also materialistic and Ashok provides his every whim and fancy...And the other half of the compensation to Shagun will be punishing Raman. Adi feels that Raman feels no remorse after ill treating Shagun. He hates Raman remarrying because he thinks that Raman shows no guilt or regret and is blissfully happy in his second marriage... Where as Shagun has always portrayed her self as the wronged woman in front of Adi... My only grouse if is how a 10 year old has been portrayed... A bitter 10 year old can say hurtful things but making hurtful plots and plans sounds OTT.

Exactly... He is called him Ashok dad... Couldn't Raman hear the same??? Couldn't he realise that there's no use running behind him???

I completely agree with you! The writers have chosen a complex and sensitve issue but have failed miserably at conceptualizing it in the right way on screen. .I realize that every tele serial needs a designated villan to come between the lead couple, but in this case Adi is NOT the right choice to be portrayed as that villan. The gaumut of emotions that children from broken marriages may harbor could have been portrayed beautifully, but instead the writers have chosen to approach this sensitive topic thru the typical tele serial masala lens. Adi's character is all over the place (bipolar like his dad I suppose)- as such I can't tell which of his emotions are actually genuine. Just like Ruhi is used to very superficially create romantic moments between Ishita and Raman, I feel like Adi has been put there to cause a strain between the two. All his actions/words just serve this purpose and he is not actually treated as a real stand alone character in the show. Highly disappointing!

Once again, poor execution by cv's... They are killing their own baby with dumb drama...

Well first all its my wish from heart that kekta maiya spare this serial and hand over it to some other production houses. Yes i agree that she gives good romance but other than that there is nothing much to look at ..her all serials start on high note but with the passage of time she apply's same ghisa pita concept of showing the heroine being insulted and degraded without any logic.

Come on lady now u have turned a boy into villain who has no issues with his mom's love affair but sees problem in dad only ...then on the other hand how come a dad becomes so desperate in love of his son suddenly and takes insults by him ...Dad's are never weak and bothered like this..

Having said that I don't expect leads to fall in love so quickly ..first i want them to understand each other's importance as parents of ruhi first..respect each others individuality ...the third class language that raman uses doesn't even look like he is educated even or deserve to be a ceo ...its more like a gawar language and i agree with shagun views on him and his family.

Please kekta maiya leave this serial and spare us from the torture 😡

Ya...Im seeing a dad's vulnerability for the first time. Raman's language is always a problem... He doesn't behave like a high class person... This is the only place where the liberty of time slot is seen...

Yes...Noticed that... Was surprised to see his reactions... cv's failed to highlight what they wanted to...

Kri somewhere they want to show raman is not in love with ishitha and they end up getting overboard without the fact that we know he has not fallen in love .

He cares little about ruhi and her feelings ,when adi is around and when he is not there raman is all over ruhi so in an attempt to please adi he disrespects ishitha as he is least bothered ,in simple words she is a doormat but uses her to prove him to shagun .I dont know what to name him for his behavior

Now cvs are to be blamed here they have messed it to a very bad level that we don t even want ishra together now

True... Wish Ishitha moves out of his life... He's a desperate man who won't be satisfied even if Adi is back into his life. Who knows, he might go behind Shagun...

Afte rmarrying such a big tragedy in the form of Shagun , he can't expect to have everything back in his life...
