Loved this post! I was about to make a similar post!

I totally agree with what you said! In fact, I was happy that Ishita refused his apology.

I think the reason people in this forum sympathize with Raman more than Ishita is because we've seen Raman's backstory. We've heard about and seen extensively how Shagun completely broke his heart, how Ashok continually taunts him, how his own son refuses to accept him, how he's in pain 24/7, how he wants to love Ruhi but can't. We've seen all this along with his more human good side (being good to Ishita's parents, helping people out, etc). We've seen him dealing with these emotions and Karan really delivers in those scenes as well. Whereas comparatively Ishita has had it easy. All we really know about her and her backstory is that she had a few failed marriages and that she can't become a mother. She's a successful dentist with her own thriving practise. Even that guy who rejected her , as we saw, turned out to be a jerk. So while it was a sad thing she got rejected, people also saw it as a good thing because he wasn't a good guy anyway. She couldn't become a mother but became one anyway to Ruhi. Ishita has led a relatively simpler life and she deals with things by forgiving and moving on. Thus forum members don't sympathize with her actions because she comes across as high and mighty (which she is, but in regards to Raman she is right).

All the reasons you listed are so bang on. Raman has been nothing but horrible to her from day one. He hasn't even respected her once. Time after time she's been cordial and even helped him. He's always been gruff. I'm glad that Ishita is standing up for herself but not stooping to his level. She's classy as hell. And as for her sermons, yes they are boring (you can skip them if you watch online or mute the tv you know) but they make sense in the context of Ishita only knowing Raman's bad side.

I'm curious to how the love track will go, who will fall in love first, etc. Earlier I was thinking Ishita would fall in love first. But it could be Raman as well. One thing's for sure tho, Raman can be expected to have many awkward love moments with Ishita LOL. At his core, he's an awkward guy and I'm loving that (today's mirror scenes was great LOL!).

Well since last night we have had huge discussions why ishita is lecturing Raman and not seeing his good side and some ppl are already calling her names and negative but here is reason why she can't see good points about him

Track record of Raman is bad

He earlier tried to slap ishita

He called her mother gold digger

He sent her parents to jail

After marriage he left her alone at party and did not introduce her to anyone

He refused to apologise

He brings out her appa name as insults every time

He does not give her and accepts her as wife

He misbehaved with Ruhi and refused to give blood

He landed up all drunk at Shagun and ishita had to pick up her from ex wife house and how insulting for a wife

They have not even thanked her once for helping in Ruhi case and keep taunting her

agree with you every word you said is correct👏👏👏👏👏

exactly ishu is right there...he has most of the times behaved wrongly with iyers or her. And when he behaves rightly she never came to know abt it.

He said sorry to mr iyer, but she never knew.
He requested that guy not to break his marriage with her but ishu never knew.
He helped that old man to load his tempo but ishu never knew.
Raman didnt give blood bcoz he was afraid if his mom knows ruhi is ashoks daughter she might hate her...he didnt want his daughter to lose the love of her grandparents. But Ishu didnt hear this.

So both reasons are there...50% times ramz was wrong and when he was right ishu never came to know abt his good deeds.

Late late late me as always.
Agree completely whatever she saw were almost all negatives...
She never saw him at least talking and laughing with his family also, he always talks rudely with his staff members only which Ishita saw him doing on the phone sometimes so here a personality is build up in his mind. Hope in the future there will be lot of change.
