Ishita's speech seemed to garner mixed responses, so here is my view. I loved it, and hated it at the same time.
I feel she was justified in calling Raman out on the fact that she has been there only 20 days and she noticed the similarities between father and daughter.
She was justified in telling him that his ego and his own pain takes priority over that of a little girl's who is supposed to be his daughter.
She pretty much spoke on behalf of half this forum when she asked being 32 how he couldn't know his own blood group😆
She was justified in being upset at him for mistreating the little girl based on something Ashok had fed him. I liked that she said he should have known better, and that muhavra whatever it was.
She was justified in telling how in the middle of this Ashok - Shagun - Raman war Ruhi is suffering.
I also liked how she said that money doesn't buy relationships, this was the MOST important thing she could have said. Because in Raman's head this is what he thinks now. Aditya left him because he didn't have money to buy him toys. Shagun left because he couldn't give her a nice house etc. But its important for him to slowly but surely realize that people are not generally like that. That Ishita is not like that. That it was only Shagun who was stupid enough to place money over love and care. He needs these doses on the regular sometimes to make him think. He might have yelled back at Ishu, but she gave it back and it made him think.
I didn't like that she commented on Aditya without knowing the full truth, I didn't like how she didn't care that it was something he feared so much...but I think both of them need a little understanding. They are both flip sides of the same coin right now, just need to come out of their past heartbreaks and give other people a chance. Here is where I hope Ishita getting drunk comes into play...I hope she talks about Subbu, so even Raman knows that he isn't the sole man in the world dealing with pain, that there are people like Ishita who are still hurting but don't stop caring for others because of it.
Also, I hope Raman doesn't give Ashok the letter meant for Ishita, because it says detailed reports available in 3 days...I just want this track to end:(...
