Hey guys I am back with one of those stories of mine.This time I chose to write on the current track. So this OS is based on the spoilers that Ishu comes to know about the DNA test.So here it is another of my scribblings on my new muse - IshRa ❤️
It was a grim and quiet evening at the bhalla house. Sitting in her room Ishita felt extremely saddened by the happenings of the day. Raman's blunder of bringing some other kid instead of Ruhi and Mr bhalla asking everyone at home to boycott Raman and not fetch him food and water. To add it was Ruhi's constant fear from Raman that even made her skip her dance class. Everything in her new family felt to be going wrong and she could not do anything about it. She was still lost in her thoughts when Raman entered the room. He looked quite weak and stressed. For a fleeting second his state made Ishita worried for him. His eyes were red and he was coughing as well.
"raman kuch baat karni thi aapse" she said as he faced his back towards her, adjusting clothes in his cupboard.
"subah jo kuch bhi kaha uske baad kuch aur kehna baki rah gaya hai" he retorted in anger. Ishita clenched her fist in frustration and took a few deep breaths.She had to talk with him for the sake of Ruhi.
"I know you are not interested in talking to me...but its about ruhi"
"whats your problem dammit" raman threw his blazer in anger making her scared. "maine kaha na mujhe tumse..." he began to cough badly.
Closing the distance between, Ishita ran to his side and rubbed his back in concern.
"Are u ok..." there was a worry in her tone that made a little butterfly flutter in raman's stomach. She offered him a glass of water.
"mujhe nahin chahiye ...mere paani peene se iss ghar ke logon ko taqleef hoti hai,,isliye ek aur baar unke problem ka karan nahin banna chahta main" he taunted.
"Don't be mad raman...tumhein khansi aa rahi hai aur iskle liye tumne thoda pani pee bhi liya to kisi ko koi problem nahin hogi...aur ye parivaar hai tumhara...dushman nahin" she forcefully made him hold the glass when she suddenly noticed a bandage on his forearm. It was a little one that is generally placed when someone is given an injection or if a blood test is done. Ishita felt surprised but before she could ask she got a call from her clinic.
"maine kuch khana rakha hai fridge mein..aur aaj papa ghar pe nahin hain, kuch kaam se appa ke saath bahar gaye hain. To bhukh lage to kha lena.Aur maine simmi di se kah diya hai ki agar ruhi uth jaye to woh use khana khila den.Pls use phir kissi baat ke liye daantna mat woh
pehle se darri hui hai" Telling him she left for work. Raman felt awfully irritated and drained. His head ached like anything. And to add was his wife's endless lectures.
A few hours had passed and Ishita was still not home. Raman looked at his watch. It was 8pm already. He took out his cell to call her but then dropped the idea. He didn't recognize but he
was feeling a bit worried for her. He called the guard to ask if he saw ishita's car parked in the society in any case she went straight to her parents home from clinic. Raman was busy on phone when Ishita came barging in the room.She was seething in anger.
"Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla u know what jin bhi logon ne tumhein best CEO ka award diya hai na they shud really reconsider their vote.Kyunki jis insaan ke paas itni bhi samajh nahin hai ki
woh apni beti ko pehchan sake woh itni badi company kya khaak chalayega" she almost shouted at him.
Raman was shocked to hear her words. Did she come to know that Ruhi was Ashok's daughter? How much she knew...raman felt frustrated but equally embarrassed in front of her.
"exactly ye jo sharam hain na tumhari aankhon mein ye bahut achi lag rahi hai.But pata hai dukh kis baat ka hai, ye sharam isliye nahin hai kyunki tumhein apni beti ki pehchan par shaq karne ka afsos hai balki isliye hai kyunki tumhein lagta hai ki jis bachi ko tum apni beti kahkar gurur se ghuma krte the woh kisi aur ka khoon hai"
"shut up Ishita" a drop of tear trickled down Raman's eye.
"ye ansun kyun mr raman bhalla? kis baat ka dukh hai tumhein? Ki ruhi tumhari beti nahin ya ruhi uss insaan ki beti hai jisse tum apna jani dushman mante ho.aur isiliye shayad ruhi ke saath
pichle kitne dino se itna ganda salook kar rahe ho. Usse daantna apne se door karna uspe chillana...am I right mr bhalla?"
Raman's eyes could not meet that of Ishita. He felt extremely humiliated at her words. He wanted to express his pain to her but his throat was choked with tears. He could not say anything.
"u know what raman...agar kabhi apne apni beti ko pyaar se gale laga ke delha hota...kabhi uski masoom ankhon mein chupe dard ko dekha hota..to aapko kabhi uski pehchan pe shaq na hota.kyunki mata pita to bache ke psarsh se hi uski rooh ko mehsoos kar lete hain.magar aap jaise logon ko to in baton ka matlab pata ho ye to bahut door ki baat hai. aap sirf in kagazon pe vishwas kar sakte hain."
"how do you know all this" he asked still looking down.
"mujhe shayad iss bare mein kabhi pata na chalta agar meri friend ne mujhe call karke na bataya hota ki mere husband ne apna aur apni beti ka dna test karwaya hai. I was shocked! I could not understand ki ek pita apni bachi ke saath aisa kyun karega.I could not understand who brainwashed you. But when i thought ki aisa kaun insaan hai jisse ruhi aur mere parivar mein itna interest hai.And then i realized - it can be only one man.That bas* Ashok.Main shagun ke ghar gayi aur maine un donon ki sari batein sun li. But you know what dukh mujhe unke liye nahin, tumhare liye hota hai.How can you be so cruel and heartless...aur woh bhi uss bachi ke liye jisko tumne bachpan se akele pala hai...u r disgusting Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla...u r disgusting"
Ishita went on saying and to her surprise he didn't cut her even once.
"Apni beti ke pyaar se...uske ehsaas se...uske sparsh se zyaada aapko ek test report par bharosa hai na to ye leejiye ye raha proof, ruhi ke apki beti hone ka" she put the dna report in his hand. Raman could not believe what she just said. Ruhi was his daughter! She was not Ashok and shagun's daughter but his daughter. Drops of tears rolled down his face as he looked at the report. Ruhi was his blood...he was Ruhi's father. Overwhelmed, he pulled Ishita in a bone crushing hug.
"Ouch Raman u are hurting me" Ishu tried to free herself but he was crying like a baby. She had never seen him so vulnerable. For the first she felt bad for him.
"relax raman...everythings fine. Pls come down" she gently caressed his back. She could feel his warm tears moisten the skin of her neck. She was hell angry at him but felt bad for him at the same time.
A few seconds passed with both raman and Ishita in the same position when Raman became aware of his gesture. Surprised he drifted apart from Ishita. Before he could say anything further Ruhi came in the room. Scared she walked towards Raman and looked up at him with her sad
eyes. He bent to look at her. The pain and fear on his daughter's face made Raman ashamed of himself.How could he treat his daughter so bad and that too because of that creep Ashok. His dad was right in his hatred and obsession he had become just like the man he hated the most. He had become just like ashok or may be worse.
"papa dadu ne apko khana dene se mana kiya hai na...to main aapke liye apna aloo parantha layi hoon.mera parantha khane par dadu apko nahin dantege. papa apko aloo parantha pasand hai na...kyunki mujhe to aloo parantha bahut pasand hai aur main to apki beti hoon na" ruhi fed
raman a bite of her parantha. Tears were unstoppably rolling down his eyes.
"kya hua papa apko parantha acha nahin laga" ruhi wiped a tear from his face. Ishu's eyes welled up seeing Ruhi's love for her father.
"nahin.." raman choked on his tears "nahin ruhi aisa ho sakta hai ki meri ruhi mujhe khilaye aur mujhe acha na lage"
"to aur khilaun" ruhi asked innocently and raman nooded like a kid. She fed him another bite.
"I am..." he could not meet his daughter's eyes "I am sorry ruhi beta...itna bura papa hone ke liye. I am so sorry" he could not compose himself this time and broke into tears. Ishita was looking at him in sheer surprise. She had never seen him in so much pain. And she had never felt so much angry at someone as much as she felt at Ashok right now. How could he try to treat her daughter like a commodity and play with Raman's emotions so badly? She probably didn't care about her husband but when it was the question of her Ruhi's dad, she was as fierce as a mother should be. She resolved to teach the man a good lesson.
Seeing her papa crying so badly Ruhi wipped his tears and kissed him on the cheek.
"I love you papa" she hugged him tight making Ishu's lips curve into a blissful smile.
"I...I " raman fumbled..."I love you too ruhi" he finally said and both the father and daughter wept bitterly on each other's shoulders. Ishita could not stop her tears...finally her ruhi had got her complete happiness. And just for Ruhi she decided not to tell anything about the dna test to raman's family. Finally ruhi had got her dad and though what Raman did was highly unacceptable but seeing from where he was coming, and the way Ashok had mislead him, she decided to give Raman another chance. Just for her Ruhi.
"ab bass bahut rula liya apne meri ruhi ko...now no tears...aur waise bhi zyaada rone se" ishu looked at ruhi mischievously.
"mote mote chashme lag jate hai" ruhi said, finally a smile creeping onto her lips.
"bilkul jaise papa ko lage the" ruhi giggled naughtily.
"Ruhi no" raman made a puppy face
"apko pata hai ishima papa pehle itne bade chashmein lagate the" ruhi giggled.
"acha! Par ruhi maine to kabhi apke raman papa ko chashmon mein dekha hi nahin" ishita smirked at raman...he gave her a stern look.
"to chalo main aapko dikhati hoon" ruhi took Ishita with her and raman was left grinding his teeth in anger.
Finally life was back to square one. 😃
