Great post!!! :) I am not sure if Shagun is realizing her faults yet; I think her uneasiness with Ashok's lie stems from her insecurity about her reputation being tarnished. We've seen how self-centered Shagun is...she struggled with the idea that she doesn't have her own identity. I think that is what bothered her the most about the whole situation. But I do agree, she does seem to atleast like Ruhi; in the initial days when Ruhi stayed with her, she was the one who didn't want to leave Ruhi alone at night while she and Ashok partied away.
Dare I say that Shagun is a little bit more level headed than Ashok; Ashok's revenge knows no bounds. You can see that Shagun doesn't care much to confront Raman as much as Ashok does; even on the day of the last hearing, Shagun does look uncomfortable when Ashok was having his spat of words with Raman during the recess. It's going to be a sad and steep fall for the both of them though !!
