totally agreed. They want to show a south indian bahu but they need to realize even south indian bahus wear salwars and kurtis. Even if they want to show sarees they can show normal chiffon sarees its not like south indian bahus are draped in kanjeevarams and gold jewelry day in and day out! lol...

OBVIOUSLY the actresses in the NEW south indian films are not wearing sarees as Ishita so it means they give her an old look.

She married in a punjabi family, which is now her family and she's part of it thing can be changed...

I don't understand a single word in Tamil but here sometimes they telecast films which are translated and the actresses clothes are the very same as in Hindi films..
If you remember Raman also said that he can't make place in his wardrobe for her Kanjeevaram sarees.
