Raman and Ishita's main aim for each other is to make the others's life miserable and this isn't the first time he has hurt her feelings by saying something nasty either. My guess is that Raman is just taking out his frustration and hurt on Ishita. Once the both of them calm down and think things true, they will realize that there is something bigger going on and will figure it out together.
