Awesome points Malika👏 Hope they show the custody battle like this and the judge deliberating on her decision because of Ruhi's contradictory statements😕 If not we may see Ishra appealing to a higher court, meanwhile Ishita will have a good understanding of Raman actually loves Ruhi and Raman can see Ishita's love for Ruhi is not a fake one!! What if Shagun and Ashok's lawyer successfully argue in the court that Ishita getting attached to Ruhi thus Ruhi choosing Ishita over Shagun and now the marriage ,all a deliberate set up by Raman to seperate Ruhi from her bechari mother Shagun!!!

True Malika, last hearing Ruhi choose Ishita and now when she's married to Raman, choosing Shagun will make Ruhi's decision conflicted. Shagun will always be a mom who ditched her husband & 6month old Ruhi for Ashok, which will always be a bane in her case. Also she packed Aditya off to boarding school without much delay & has been living superficial & partying life. She has not much going on to get permanent custody of Ruhi.

Great discussion, all. I totally agree that the custody is not something that is going to be decided in a jiffy. After all that is the name of the entire novel on which YHM is based. Having said this, here is the list of possible scenarios:

1. Shagun will be granted temporary custody till her affairs (pun intented) are set in order, with Ishra having weekend or visitation rights.

2. The judge keeps the status quo saying more time is needed to see how all this plays out, especially concerning Ruhi's well being.

3. Bhallas of course appeal to higher courts dragging the custody fight.

4. In the meantime, 2 pairs of people get married --Ishra and Shagok-- in the hope of winning Ruhi, but in vain. Each couple will have to deal with issues arising from the decision to marry without either wanting it or being prepared for it, and consequently we will see interesting dynamics between each couple.

5. Ruhi will be badly affected by this whole custody battle and Ishita will be able to sense it, but be frustrated as she is unable to help because Ruhi is not with her full time.
