I was watching Pride and Prejudice last night and realised some similarities between it and YHM. YHM has Raman as Darcy, Ishita as Elizabeth Bennet, Mihika as Jane Bennett, Mihir as Bingley, Simi as Caroline Bingley. Raman is very proud whereas Ishita is prejudiced against Raman and his family and believes that they don't love Ruhi. Raman convinces Mihir that Mihika doesn't really love him and is only after him for money/status (just like Darcy did to Bingley). Ishita's mother is also like Mrs Bennett in that all she's fixated on is her daughter's marriage.
This is just my opinion, I would be very interested in hearing what everyone else thinks! š
