Post the 18 year leapon Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, you may have missed seeing television's favourite saas Savita Taibeyond the few glimpses of her life in Canada. Despair not. For come this Monday, all hell will break loose once again as the firebrand Savita Tai (played by Usha Nadkarni) returns to Mumbai in the Maha Somvaar episode of Zee TV's popular primetime soap Pavitra Rishta. What's more, as a grand welcome for the feisty old lady, Zee TV has roped in key characters from Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Hitler Didiwho will all cross paths in a hilarious sequence at the Mumbai airport.
Viewers, be prepared to witness a comedy of errors as Hitler Didi Indira's (Rati Pandey) entire family, disguised in burqas, follows her and cop Sumer (Abhinav Shukla) to Mumbai in search of the missing hero Rishi (Sumit Vats). In the meanwhile, Manav (Hiten Tejwani) is dropping daughters Teju and Ovi to the airport for their holiday to Goa and Archana tags along as well - All of them blissfully unaware that Savita Tai is on her way to India as well. Abha (Suhasi Dhami) of Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli is also in Mumbai with Biren for Karan's operation.
In all the haste to get to their respective destinations, chaos ensues when Savita Tai bumps into Abha as well as the burqa-clad Sheetal, Munna, Sunaina and Kutumb while looking for a taxi where they even topple over each other and push each other out of a taxi from either side. Finally Savita tai reaches her chawl where she meets her son Manav after five long months. Imagine her shock and horror when she comes face to face with Archana, who oblivious of her presence, walks into the Deshmukh household! And ofcourse hell hath no fury like a mother who finds out that she has been lied to by her own son.
"Ofcourse I am looking forward to making a re-entry on the show. I'd never really gone away in absolute terms as there invariably were a couple of scenes with me shot in Canada in every other episode. But Savita Tai was in a state of hibernation. Now, finally the time has come when I get to be my spunky self again." said Usha Nadkarni.
Zee TV will air 1 and a hour special "Maha Sangam" episode of Pavitra Rishta where the cast of Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Hitler Didi join in to add to the excitement at 8 PM on Monday, May 28.
