Ankita Lokhande enters into a tiff with the director of YMGGK

Ankita Lokhande

If someone says that an actor had a fight on the sets, and later if everyone denies of such a happening, that doesn't really mean that a tiff never really happened. So what are we trying to exactly imply? Well, just relax, grab a bucket of popcorn and read. wrote the news about the drama-injected crossover episode between Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta and Rajshri Productions' Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (YMGGK). Both the shows air on Zee TV. The episode was indeed well scripted, but here's some spicy "off screen" news.

We have learned that Ankita Lokhande aka Archana of Pavitra Rishta, entered into a tiff with the director of YMGGK, Amit Gupta. A source informed that the actor and the director had creative differences, which led to an argument and the director resorted to shouting at Ankita. Ankita too was left fuming and even threatened to quit shooting and leave the sets. But later she was calmed down by some production people from Balaji Telefilms.

got in touch with Ankita, and asked her about the incident. This is what she had to say, "I was working with Rajshri Productions, not Balaji, and they have a different style of functioning. So when you visit a new set, it takes time to adjust. I was not really convinced as an actor with the way the director told me to enact the scenes. So it was not really an argument but just a misunderstanding. These things happen in the industry."

Well, Ankita, we know it's not your fault but the ever-rising temperatures in Mumbai. Time to have some nimboo paani, we guess (wink, wink).
