SWARNA BHAWAN,the palatial mansion in ujjain where Jagmohan Prasad and his family resides.He is the most famous lawyer in ujjain . His family consists of his wife Pratibha,his sons Vimal jagmohan Prasad and his wife Shaili,Veer Prasad and his wife Priyanka and his most favourite beta or the pet of the entire family Karan Jagmohan Prasad his twin brother Ranchod prasad who is in mumbai and is dreaming about a career in acting.They have a sister Kanika Prasad who is spoilt by the love of her parents,brothers and bhabhis.Vimal is doing business and veer helps jagmohan at his office and karan is a lawyer by profession and he also works with Jagmohan.
In Ujjain itself there lives Takur Uday Pratap Sing and his family consisting of his wife Chandraprabha,his divorced daughter lata,his son Prakash who is an auto driver and his favourite beti abha who wished to become a lawyer but had to leave her studies in between as takur could no longer support her studies as he was having certain financial problems.One evening Karan was checking his mail and his friends requests.he was just randomly going through the messages.suddenly a name startled him "ABHA" .he was upset . But he decided to read what the message was .it was "Hi Karan .. do u remember this abha after this two years where there was no contacts with you . hope you are doing well at ur profession. well i'm getting married soon and am writing this message to invite you to my marriage.it's on 18th march and hope you will make sure that u will come for u know that i have very few friends and u r one of my best friends.after all this much happening in life i really don't know what life has in store for me.i'm really worried... any ways plz don't forget to come i'll wait for u...good night... your abha".
karan couldn't believe his eyes and he read the mail again and again especially the last line "your abha".karan felt something touched his heart.he felt heavy at his heart to hear about abha's marriage.he stood up and went to the cupboard where his books were kept.he took one out and turned the pages. there was a photo of abha in it which he took while she was talking without her knowing.he came with that book to the window and sat on a chair there.there was gentle breeze and moonlight there though the window.he closed his eyes and he went back to his college days..abha was a very bright student and everyone liked her.she was in the same class as karan.karan loved her very much but he never let her know it.he admired her and knew the very presence of her without even looking at her.that much he loved her. he never told her that he loved her because he was just waiting for the right time,when he will finish the course and become a lawyer and will be able to stand on his own feet.he thought that afterall his father won't go against his will and when he will tell him about his wish he will surerly agree.he had told shaili bhabhi about abha and she also liked her but told him to just concentrate on his studies now and when he finishes his studies she herself will tell papa about the relation of abha and karan.karan was much releaved.The next day abha didn't come to class.he thought she might not be well.then she was missing for some more days..
karan was really upset now . he asked her other friends why abha was not coming to class as exams are nearing. they also didn't know.days passed into months then oneday he heard a friend talking that she abha at the office room and she came to get back her certificates and that she is not going to continue her studies anymore...karan got the shock of his life...he ran to meet abha...
