I think she is planning to leave Prakash, but she will not do so until she has totally brainwashed him and turn him from his family. She will use him to get all that she wants first.
Yes his attitude has taken a 180 degrees turn...I think that after CPs death, Kanika's pregnancy was good news to him and he probably feels that Kanika and the Baby are the only ones to fill the gap left by his mother...but his attitude changing is not solely based on Kanika's pregnancy...just my view.

I think so because after marriage, he leaves his parents and cleaves to his wife (according to the Bible)...but that doesn't mean he can disrespect his parents.

WRONG. He has absolutely no right to behave the way he did. Does he actually think his father would hurt Kanika and their baby?
