Karan & Saniya: Are close friends possible?

Whenever I see Karan and Sania on-screen, I think of that age old question:

Can guys and girls be really close friends only?

Looking at what I know now, I don't think it is possible.

The friendship between girls and boys are possible.
My best friend is a boy it enough to put limits.
In the case of small and Karan Saniya they make stupid promises.
Saniya had taken the matter seriously instead of Karan.
Love is a feeling you do not control.
Karan will always love fraternal Saniya.
Saniya can not help but see her love for Karan.
But she knows she can never have it so she'll have no choice but to move forward and the forgotten.

Yes, it is possible..............My best friend is a boy as well...........I mean we fight most of the time, but hate 2 see each other in problem.................I like him, in fact love him as a friend but that doesn't mean that I have a crush on him.............I don't feel bad when he talks 2 a girl and he has a girl friend as well, who is also a good friend of mine..........so, that explains it..........But here, Karan was more than a friend 2 Saniya...........She had a crush on him............She loved him and wanted 2 marry him...........And it's really strange 2 see the man whom u loved so much marrying another girl............But time will heal all her wounds, and I'm sure that she is gonna get a better boy than even Karan, himself............

Yes. Its quite possible. I am a girl and my best friend for all my life has been a boy. I am extremely happy for my friend as he is married to a great girl. My husband is also good friends with my best friend and his wife. It makes our life blessed to have two very good friends now.

It is not only possible but a reality. I have seen cases of this kind of platonic relationships since kindergarten and remained even after their marriages. This depends on the nature of both friends and how your bond developed and above all what do you expect out of this relationship or friendship. We have seen that sania just is very much content to be Karan's friend for the time being. She truly loves him from her heart but the love she shares with him is deeper than the physical attraction and that is the love we are defining her as true friends.

yes, i think its possible! even though at times family and society can't take this friendship the wrong way and mis understand! However, to me it doesnt matter what others think and believe!

My best friend is a guy and his family still calls me his "girl friend" even in front of his wife! LOL
