I've sent my entry... but according to the theme, the limit is really less!

Advil ji, please release my headache by answering this question asap! 😳 😆

Question:

So I've written my story and it's 249 words. It came out pretty crappy because I had to get rid of a lot of stuff.

But still, I was wondering, you know how it's a flashback?

Well my flashback is 250 words. But doesn't there also have to be a "come back to present" thing? So can I just add like, say 20 words for that?

😆 Its called short and sweet and to the point. Plots subplots- keep them outside then you wont have tension...😳

Yay! Okay Adi, I'm sending in my entry...after cutting out half the story, I reached 280 words. Can't cut anything else out, sorry 😆😳

i know how you feel... mine came to 271 words... just 21 words extra.... and i had to cut nearly half of it and i had no sub-plots! i guess i was just detailing it a bit too much! 😆

i don't have any sub-plots.. my story was initially 305 words but i cut out parts until it was 271 words and just sent it off with my fingers crossed!

Well, I love writing and this contest sure sounds interesting, but I don't have time to write anything so soon...

But all the best to everyone who's participating!
