Night Walk
When her car broke down again that night, the four men on the highway kept ogling at her. The highway was known for its high crime rates. She was scared of the men, and habitually stepped out of the car to escape. The men saw her twisted feet, blood-stained clothes, and ran away. A pale male apparition, in blood soiled shirt, offered to safely escort the lady home. They sweetly flirted, their transparent bodies gliding in the moonlight. He dropped her home. When the day broke, the house turned charred and two dead bodies reappeared on the highway.
Smoking Zombies
Rahul lit a cigarette and waited for the bus. It was a deserted stop. A strange man appeared and asked him, “Do you have a cigarette?". Rahul gave the strange man a smoke. Minutes later, an old lady came and asked the same question. They grinned; he realized they were blood sucking zombies. Three more zombies appeared from the bushes asking for cigarettes. Rahul ran for his life. The bus came as if on a cue. He boarded the bus thanking God and gave the conductor money for tickets. The conductor asked Rahul, "Do you have a cigarette?"
Painting on the Wall
It was 11pm when I reached the hotel. I tucked myself in the bed with my book. Something was off, as if the girl in the painting was staring at me. Just when I fell drowsy, the painting dropped from the wall. I went to see the painting; blood from the girl's lips filled my hands. Suddenly it shook violently and a cable suffocated my breath. I cried; I tried to cut its grip on me. Then I passed out. When I woke up, another girl had checked into the room and I was a painting on the wall.
