Unexpected situations bring the least likely people together. Just like it happened with Rose and Mitchell. Mitchell is Elliot's friend from the University of Cambridge. They have known each other for four years now and are best of friends. Two weeks after their graduation, right before their Europe tour, Elliot got the news that his dad passed away. Canceling the trip, he rushed back to Seattle, Washington with Mitchell following him. Rose is the younger sister of Elliot, and she meets Mitchell when he comes to her dad's funeral. Lost in the grief of losing the only parent and charm by the brown hair and blue eyes stranger, Rose immediately develops a friendship with Mitchell and a major crush. There is only one problem. They have an age gap of 7 years.

In tarot, the rose is considered a symbol of balance.

The beauty of this flower expresses promise, hope, and new beginnings.

It is contrasted by thorns symbolizing defense, loss, and thoughtlessness.

Dear Zoe,

The premise interesting, especially the tarot interpretation of the word Rose - which brings to mind the phrase "The name of the Rose". Surprisingly one of the few stories where I have watched the movie but not yet read the book - it is my favourite genre - murder mystery.

I am digressing, but then I do ramble😆The rose also figures quite prominently in Freemasonry symbolism. And yes, when Shakespeare asked " what is in a name, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet?" he was quite off the mark. Because of repeated usage our minds would link words, images and smell - say hippopotamus and you can neither visualise a rose or recall the fragrance
