Chapter 1 - Meeting New People

The New Environment. The New People. The New Life. Everything seems to be dream come true for Anshi. It is not that she is not used to this kind of environment but she struggled so hard to get into St Stephen's college to convince her parents who visualized her as a doctor not a literature graduate. She was also felt bad that her parents were initially disappointed due to her but Anshi thought she cannot be in any profession which she cannot enjoy. With these thoughts Anshi entered into her classroom on her very first day

Anshi took the seat in the first row next to a girl who was writing something in her notebook.

"Hi "

"Hi "the girl replied with a smile

"This is English class right?" Anshi asked to start a lame conversation with the girl.

"Absolutely" The girl replied with a smile and continued after two of minutes of silence "Hi I am Ananya"

"Anshi!"

"Anshi! Nice name"

"Thanks! I think I saw you yesterday night in the hostel canteen with my room mate"

"Yesterday night? Oh you are mughda's room mate. I didn't know about her much. We met only yesterday. She is very friendly. Isn't she?"

Anshi nodded with a smile.

"Why didn't you join us yesterday then?"

Anshi continued to smile not knowing what to answer and her glance fell on the notebook lied on the desk. Her face shined with a bright smile.

"Ananya! Did you..." Before she could complete professor arrives diverting the attention of the whole class.

"Anshi! Would join us for lunch today? Ananya asked at the end of the lecture.

"Us?"

"Yeah! My best friends from school joined the college but cheated me and joined different courses. Aadvik and Manisha. If you don't mind, I will introduce you to them"

"Sure Ananya! I don't know anyone much here. I would love to join u for lunch"

"Then fine! Manisha and Aadvik are the most entertaining people you will ever witness. You will have a great time with them. Come on. Let's go".
