Oh wow! Excellent update. The poor parents are trying everything and is getting cheated by everyone... The unconcern of doctors and the others are brought out well. The relatives and well wishers with loads of useless advice and solutions and the desperate parents... This is like a story that might have happened in our own neighbourhood. 👏

PART 4
Revathy Madam is in her early fifties. She heard everything patiently.

"subramani is a very good boy. This should not happen to him. Do not worry. Please bring him to the school once but without his knowledge. Let me see him first. Bring him when he is normal. I can visit your house but I believe the school atmosphere could make him normal." said she.

The next day, subramani was enjoying the car journey until he saw his school compounds. Revathy madam was standing in the entrance to receive him. He got down normally and wished his teacher. He walked normally to his class. On the way while crossing the tomb of the school founder which was built in the middle of the garden, his body shook once. His legs were twisted and he sat down on the floor. Revathy madm , his father and mother tried a lot to pick him up from the floor but he was not co operating. He pulled his body back. He started shouting . His growling soon became a big roar.

"take him to the library. Other children may afraid" said the teacher. Two office boys assisted revathy madam and his father to carry him to the library. Nobody was there in the library except subramani's family and Revathy madam and the coordinator madam.

Really, both the teachers looked scared at first. The boy was so wild. His eyes were folded up. He clenched his arms and growling .

They simply watched him for twenty minutes.

"How many times he does this and how long it persists usually?" asked the madam.

"three to four times madam. And not more than 10 mins " replied his mother.

Now, revathy madam sat near him. Coordinator madam was still shivering.

"Revathy! Be careful. Come here. This looks like something evil. Don't take risks"

Revathy madam signaled her to calm down.

"subramani! How are you?" asked her.

"I am not subramani.."

"then who are you?"

He laughed. " the poor founder of this school you idiot. How this school will survive if it has foolish staffs like you. Get awayyy." he screamed.

"oh! You are the founder? Then tell me your name?"

"whaaat"

"founder sir! You must be having a name. I am asking your name" she was sure that the name of the founder was nowhere mentioned in their school except a big photo in the corridor and the first page of the daybook. She was also sure that the boy had very rare chances to notice it. Even if he had noticed it is certainly difficult for him to recollect now.

Subramani growled again.

"none of your business." she suppressed a smile.

"ok! Listen subramani! Do not worry that you have to write and study all the portions which you had skipped in these leave days. Just attend the school for term days. You no need to read anything..write anything..simply attend the exam. I will promote you to the next class. But come to school"

He leaned back and front..stretched his body and fell on the table hitting his head.

After sometime he opened his eyes innocently.

She caressed his forehead.

She took her mother privately and said" nothing serious! He is just making dramas. "

" the psychiatrist also said the same. But why?"

"you know very well! He missed his classes for more than two months due to his illness. It's really tough for a fourth standard boy to catch up the syllabus. Just to escape from the over pressure of writing he is cooking up stories."

"but he seemed to be very real"

Revathy madam clasped her shoulder.

"yes! He is brilliant. Children are very very fast and updated nowadays. He perfectly knows his father and mother and what to do to make them afraid."

"but ..this is too much" she said with a distrust in her words. Revathy madam smiled.

"what do you expect from the children who are getting addicted to Tamil horror movies like "muni" and the magical virtual worlds with aliens, zombies and beasts"?This is the age where children's imagination power gets increased enormously. That you could see if you correct any of their exam papers" smiled she.

"now! What should I do madam"

" we cannot not force him. He will be doing it again and again. wait" she took lots of coloring books and puzzles books.

"give it to him . ask him color all the books..get him new color boxes. Ask him to solve all the puzzles. Engage him always. Take him out to the park or just go for picnics. Don't allow him to think wildly. Don't give gap for him to think about this. Engage him completely. Can you understand?"

"yes madam" she nodded.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Subramani was enjoying his days with full allowances. He loved his new books , new coloring boxes, enjoyed daily outing, he played with his sister, he ate whatever he wished. He never thought negatively for even a minute for the whole week.

"Rascal! How dare he made dramas and fooled everyone here? " muttered Saravanan.

"Shush! He may hear us." Said saraswathy." she smiled .

"still I could not believe that my son lied to me. Anyways. He is alright now." Said Saravanan.

"shall we send him to school tomorrow?"

Clang!!!! Something fell in the hall where he was watching tv.

Both ran to the hall. Subramani was breaking everything in the room madly. The chairs..tables..plates on the dinning table..he laughed devilishly again. Saraswathy ran to him and put him in her lap. She caressed his chest and said" calm down dear.. calm down"

Saravanan held his head and slumped on his bed. His body was trembling.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

"okay! Now its time for action. Bring him to school again. let me give him a simple but powerful treatment" said the teacher.

Again subramani was brought to his school library. Again he did the same while crossing the founder's tomb. This time Revathy madam asked the others to leave the room. Only the two teachers and subramani were left in the room. He growled..roared.. barked.. twisted..strangled his neck. The two teachers stood still. Their eyes were impassive. Not even a single move they made. They were simply staring at the boy with arms tied behind.

The boy paused for a while.Revathy madam gestured to continue. He barked even wildly this time.

For another five minutes he tried his best. He put the head down on the table..and slowly he glanced at the teachers. They both clapped their hands suddenly and laughed loudly. The boy was stunned first. He never expected this from them. His face turned red in embarrassment and shy. He too controlled his laughter. Tears welled up his eyes. He dropped his head again and shut his face.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

"really? " asked saravanan.

"yes! He glanced us in the middle to know our reaction. He is just acting sir" said the coordinator madam.

" but..but..what to do"

"slap him."

"madam!!" he was shocked.

"yes! If he does that again give him a slap in the most unexpected moment".

"Madam! This is so sensitive. If he is not lying then it is something religious. can't you understand that"?

"sir! This is your weakness and he is utilizing it very cleverly. I gave the solution. It is up to you now"

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Night!

While having dinner ,saravanan stared at his son

Is he lying?

"subramani" he looked up his father

"Are you lying to me?" he asked. The boy nodded innocently.

"no appa!"what lie?"

"ok! Eat"

After a few seconds..a mild growl came out of his throat.

"he is not lying you fool!! It's me who is inside him and controlling his mind" spoke subramani in a gruff husky voice.

Slap!!!

The next second he received a heavy slap on his cheeks. He was flattered and stunned. He rubbed his cheeks.

He shouted even vigorously. A BIG SLAP!

Again in the most unexpected way!

"Shushhh! Shut your mouth you rascal" his father raised his voice.

Subramani zipped his mouth.

"what?? What do you want?"

"nothing pa" he shook his head swiftly, rubbing his cheeks.

"will you do it again"

"no pa" he nodded heavily.

"go to sleep"

He ran to his room.

Saraswathy was relieved finally.

In the late night, saravanan and saraswathy were speaking in the hall.

"see this rascal! How brilliantly he fooled all of us. He will become a good story writer in the future. Thank god. everything is over now." Said saraswathy.

"Yes! I never expected this rascal would act so perfectly."

Now, they heard a mild roar from his room.

"shush! "saravanan gestured his wife. Then in a loud voice

whats the sound there..hmmm"

"nothing pa" came the reply

"you want one more"

"no pa! Let me sleep."

Both of them suppressed a laugh.

"rascal! Testing us again."

"yes! Ok..book the tickets immediately to thirupathi" said saras.

"saras!' now his voice was shaky

what happened?"

"I beat my child. My son who has recovered from a big disease. I slapped him. He is going to hate me. Will he love me anymore" he was broken into tears like a little baby.

Now, saraswathy really don't know how to tackle this baby.!!!

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Writer's note:

The real story does not end here. It would be very nice if it had ended here. The shock treatment of the class teacher did work fo ra few days. He was back to normal, back to school , everything was fine and smooth. But peace and happiness were playing hide and seek with that family. Now he is taking treatment in the mental care centre.

All the doctors who examined him said he is normal and suggested to send him to school. But still, his father believes that he was possessed by some spirits. Rarely, he behaves in the same way which makes others believe his father's belief. A little boy whose childhood days with loads and loads of cheer, playful, puckish, games, friends, celebrations were now ceased and he is spending his days in hospital rooms and in a lonely room in his house amidst so many medicines.

The movies, the games, the novels wherever we turn we see the superstitious concepts ,thrillers and mystical imaginations to attract the children. The movie makers and the writers certainly succeeded in their work and they earned and earning money but their creations are definitely influencing and dominating the little brains. It did affect some brains severely like our boy.

Please pray for him to get back his childhood days. Please pray for his family to get back its peace and their son.

Thank you so much for all who read and commented here. I am glad that you all liked it.😃

Excellent update Dhi. Really loved it. The teachers were very smart. The parents finally got convinced though they did not believe the psychiatrist. Lovely story! This is what can happen to anyone anywhere. Thank you for this amazing story Dhi! 🤗

And I pray that the real Subramoni is safe and happy... Real life rarely gives simple endings to such stories... Praying for him wherever he is...
