Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell! Reading it again for the fourth time, because it's just so good. Pretty much about an introvert girl who writes fan fictions and is going to college. I love everything about the book! It's pretty fluffy and YA!

Having read the author's notes on the sensitivity of the topic and what her motives were, she did an exceptional job at writing the story. She never wanted to push the reader towards *possible spoilers ahead!* deciding whether to support euthanasia or not, she only wanted to show the different sides to the situation. when I came to the end of the book, i could safely say that I believed she did a good job of that because although my opinions on the subject didn't change, it certainly gave a great overview of the whole situation because she didn't leave us with feeling the need to decide our opinion on it. She didn't leave it open to debate but rather to empathy for everyone in that unfortunate situation.

@red: Oh I wholeheartedly agree which is why *SPOILER ALERT* as soon as we learn of Will's motives (we-as in Lou) I love how we instantly get his mother's P.O.V. It really set's the mood for the remainder of the story. I can only begin to imagine what it must be like for those who have to 'live' through that type of situation. The part that really get's me *MORE SPOILERS* is when Lou tells him she loves him and he says it's not enough. Then I think for the first time in my life I felt my heart break.

In fact the book was so good, that even if Moyes had decided on no 'love' angle, it would still have struck a chord with many people. Of course the subject is sensitive and for many remains taboo, but the reality is this that we are not in control of time and/or the future, one minute you could be crossing the road and the next?...

So really well done to her, I'm really looking forward to the film next year starring: Sam Caflin and Emilia Clarke, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it through it, considering the mess I was after reading it!
