The Sidekick

Summary

He is the protagonist. She is his D in D. All other roles are already claimed. Where do I come in the equation? Well, we forgot about his trusty steed and the fire breathing dragon. Useless best friend.

Prologue

Classic ingredients of a fairytale stew.

A beautiful princess held captive by a witch, preferably ugly and guarded by a ferocious and mean dragon.

A handsome prince, with his loyal sidekick, sees her somehow.

A little pow-wow involving crazy fireworks shooting from the witch's staff, and some chivalry by the sword wielding prince.

The frightening and terrible dragon is slain, the evil witch is defeated and condemned to the depths of hell, the treasure is discovered; the kingdom returned to its formerly powerless rightful heir.

The prince and his wife-to-be ride off into the sunset, and live happily ever after.

The fireworks light up the night sky.

A truly happy ending for all.

All is well that ends well right?
