I loved the update! The date was so sweet. I do wish it could have been a little bit more romantic with him mouthing some great, touching lines and Meera giving him a big warm hug. Won't that be sweet.

Your doing a great job and my apologies for not being able to read some of your previous updates. I had a month and a half holiday overseas.

omg omg! so much is happening and selina wasnt here :( sorry guys my internet got cut off (my cat ate the wire hehe) im bak and that was really amazing their first date aww, aww aww aww!

Just a small update..

After reaching her apartment, both got out of the car. It was a little awkward, but they both couldn't stop smiling at each other. Jai decided to end the silence with, "I had a great time; I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did."

To which Meera says, "how's this is the best first date anyone could ever ask for?"

"That is nice to hear; I am glad it was with me," said Jai with such honesty that Meera almost melted. She gave him a hug and left, knowing it would be very hard to sleep tonight.

Her phone started vibrating while she was just laying on her bed, remembering the moments and telling herself she better not lose her concentration from school because of him. It was Jai.

"Hey, Jai."
"Hi, Meera."
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing, just getting ready to go to bed."
"Oh, I see."
"What are you doing?"
"I am just thinking."
"About?"
"You."
"What about me?"
"Do you want to go to disneyland next weekend?"
"Huh? What about work? You scheduled me for the whole weekend, remember?"
"Oh, oops. I should have thought of that."
"Why do you want to go to disneyland all of a sudden? My family lives near there too; want to meet them?"
"OH, NO!"
"Strong reaction," said Meera, laughingly.
"Well, no, not that, but you know.."
"Yes, I completely understand. I would feel the same way had you mentioned meeting your parents."
"Thank god you understand!"
"Hmm. I should really go to bed now; have tons to do tomorrow, need to start working on my next paper."
"How boring!"
"You're telling me. I have to spend my day at the library."
"Ouch!"
"I know, but summer is coming up soon, then I'll be done.. well, with this year."
"What are you doing in the summer?"
"I have to spend the summer at home."
"Why?"
"Because my mom wants me to."
"Lame!"
"I know, but I will come see you every once in a while and my birthday will be during the summer; you better come see me then."
"You never told me what date your birthday is on."
"June 19th! You can't forget it now."
"Or else?"
"You'll see."
"I think I want to see, but for now, I will let you go to bed. Good night. Sweet dreams."
"Good night, Jai."

Aw, thank you. I am glad you like it. 😃

No, that was just a phrase it reminded me of. My family had a dog who hate my parrot back when I was in India though. I was devastated.

Thanks!! It took me a while to decide on what to do next and I have no idea where this story is going. 😆 But I thought the conversation was really nice. 😳
