Am aware there are conservative families back in small towns where, when the bahu visits there, is asked to wear a fully covered up dress / sarees and asked to share household chores, even if she is apparently educated modern and resides in the city with husband.

But, rich MILs dismissing the cleaning servants and asking DIL to masala chakki peesing, making her do washing of all the home members ... 😲 then why to show Sayuri as an educated modern woman, a college professor in the first place 😕 they could have as well followed the original story then 🙄

This show and DKP are achieving new lows with every passing week of this serial. 😂 Aren't the writers / creatives same for YRKKH and Anupama 😆

What is progressive about YRKKH & Anupama? Genuinely curious. Male lead getting engaged to sister & then marrying other sister is progressive? Female lead sacrificing her love for her sister is progressive? Showing the female lead curing patients with her singing in the operation theatre is progressive? Male lead handling everything from heart ailments to ENT is progressive? Male lead fighting for female lead's non existent career is progressive? Not to forget the number of times the previous leads divorced and remarried which will be repeated here too. They even showed the male lead doubting the female lead's character & later on his family called her look alike 'ganda khoon'. All that is progressive? Oh and female lead giving lectures & living with her toxic ex husband and family is progress? Female lead giving lectures about being independent and working outside and then eventually doing all the household chores at her ex husband's house is progressive? Female lead pandering for her toxic ex mother in law's blessings is progressive? Whitewashing an abusive character & calling him a good human is progressive? Am not questioning why you call WTHA regressive but i would like to know what is path breaking about the other two shows of DKP apart from the fact that they have TRP (unless that automatically makes it path breaking)

Am sorry if my previous post came across as rude but can we really stop bringing other shows here ? This is not the first time it's happening & its against the forum rules (you can go check the rules if you want). Nobody in the YRKKH forum talks about this show or Anupama. Nobody in the YHC forum talks about Kumkum Bhagya or Kundali Bhagya just because all of them are produced by Ekta. And the comparisons are always made to show how the other two DKP shows are brilliant in comparison (my grandmother watches Anupama and i know how problematic it is but i don't want to write another essay on it. I also know the 'brilliant writing' that exists in other shows but i don't wanna mention it again here). One can call out this show without bringing up other shows. If we like those shows so much because they have brilliant writing, we might as well go to those forums and write essays about them. At least ppl will appreciate it

Am just having fun with like minded people who all mutually appreciate funny or even silly comments here.

And, for anybody's kindest information, i brought up those two shows coz the producer, writers and creative directors constantly interchange and write for these shows. I was specifically writing about the BTS scenes shared here. I don't think there were any such scenes in those shows.

And most importantly, this time in my previous post above, i was not even talking about progressive or regressive.

Can the person who clearly does not like me for whatever reason, kindly ignore my posts and move on. I can be as rude if necessary but, am choosing to be the adult here.

No this is a public forum. I don't know who you are. I only see your posts on this forum so am reacting to them. Its a free forum (which you have proclaimed before) so anyone can quote anyone if they disagree with something. I have repeatedly seen you bring up other shows and how they are supposedly better. Just because it's the same PH. So now am asking you how they are better. If you are posting on a public forum and repeatedly bringing unrelated shows here and glorifying them, be prepared to be questioned. Yes there were no similar scenes in YRKKH or Anupama but there are hundred other issues with those shows and hundreds of other scenes which are extremely problematic. So my question is again simple. How are the other two supposedly better because you are hell bent on proving that this is the worst show of DKP and Indian TV. If you make claims on an open forum, you should be prepared to be quoted and also explain why you think a certain way. You are free to be rude because i don't really care about arguments online. But you can't expect ppl to not quote or question you when you post sweeping statements and comparisons

This line here clearly talks about how this show is reaching new lows unlike YRKKH and Anupama. So again my questions remains the same.

1. Why this constant comparison? Just because they have same writers or PH? I don't remember fans discussing YRKKH in the YRHPK forum. I don't remember fans discussing Anupama in YRKKH forum. I don't remember fans discussing YHC in KB forum. They all have same PH and same writers but the discussion is always centred around that particular show. Its never about other shows just because a PH produces multiple shows

2. Now that you keep comparing (which isn't allowed as per rules) in an open forum, you should be prepared to explain why you think the other two are better. Having watched all three (esp Anupama), i know how problematic all three DKP shows are (yes including WTHA). All the shows have so many regressive aspects which are swept under the carpet. I can write so many stuff wrong with the other two shows too so again am asking why the other two are better and why only this is reaching new lows. If you are comparing and posting sweeping statements on an open forum, be prepared to be quoted. Just like you can question actors & shows even if you don't watch them, ppl can also question your opinion which is posted on an open forum. Its not mandatory that everyone has to accept everything you say as gospel truth.

Kanha is such a cutie. He fell asleep outside the door and knocked by the time Sayuri was ready. She had all the flashbacks of their marriage.

Kanha was startled when he saw her. I miss the previous Kanha.. He would have commented something funny.

Instead he rushes in and sees her towels on his bed. Sayuri embarrassed tries to reach first to take them off when her feet gets caught on the rug and she falls, pulling Kanha with her. Saw the bts many times but the scene was exquisite.

And the BG 😍😍

He gets her various types of drinks and knows hse doesn't like malai on her stuff. Interesting isn't it how many things he remembers about her.

Sayuri has a beauty moment with her family as they call her. And there's the invitation for pagphere. She has to remain in fasting till then. Sayuri is unsure about it.

Dining table scene. Kanha is about to sit in his usual way but then tries to sit properly. His father tells him to be as he was. 🥰🥰

He spies Sayuri being clearly uncomfortable and tells her flatly to do what she wants not what she is compelled to do. He says Saroj takes the pallu because that's her choice. She can do what she wants instead of blind copying. And Saroj's face 🤣

She bursts out calling Sayuri a stranger. Kanha js a little pissed and irritated. He leaves without eating followed by Dhanraj, Tej and Nakul. Saroj is furious. She tells Sayuri that she cannot eat anything. She had married her son and so she better fulfill all the rituals regarding that.

So in a way Saroj compels her to keep the vrat for their marriage.
