JANUARY 16

Surekha is knitting when Aarti joins her and asks her about it. Surekha tells her that she is knitting a sweater for her grandchild. Aarti blushes. Surekha then tells her that she prepared 'kheer' for her and goes to bring it. Just then Aarti's mum joins Aarti and tells hr not to eat the 'kheer'. Aarti tells her that she is very hungry. Just then, Surekha returns with the 'kheer' and is about to feed Aarti. Aarti feels like eating but her mum shakes her head, so she refuses to eat.

When Manoj returns home, Aarti pretends to be ill (her mum told her to do it). Aarti's mum tells Manoj that Aarti is made to work the whole day and isn't even given proper food to eat. She also tells him that Surekha prepared 'kheer' and gave everyone else, including Raj, but didn't even give a spoon of it to Aarti. Manoj refuses to believe that Surekha could do this but Aarti's mum tells him that Raj is her favorite but that doesn't mean that she'd treat him and Aarti differently.

Prince, Puneet, and Yash meet a lawyer, who assures them that their case is stronger than Komal's in-laws.

Rani calls up Puneet, in front of Prince and asks him as to what did the lawyer say. Puneet asks her whether Raj didn't tell her anything. She tells him that she hasn't met him yet. Prince feels bad and leaves. After speaking to Puneet, Rani speaks to Raj's picture and asks him to give her strength so that she could look after Yash and Komal.

In the morning, Raj and Prince are about to leave for the court when Prince asks Rani for the keys of the house, as he left his wallet. However, when he enters the house, he speaks to Raj through his picture. He tells Raj that Yash needs him today and he needs strength to help him with the case. Rani overhears but leaves before Prince comes out.

At the court, Dheeraj's lawyer accuses Komal of misbehaving with her husband and in-laws. He presets some of Dheeraj's relatives as witness and they all speak against Komal. Komal's lawyer tells the judge that all of the witness spoke against Komal but they all said that they've met Komal only a few times and so they couldn't know her well. He tells the judge that Komal's in-laws ill-treated her after they learned of Yash's financial loss and her mother-in-law had started hitting her. Dheeraj's lawyer accuses Komal of being a characterless woman. Everyone's shocked.

JANUARY 20

Kamya arrives at Prince's house in India and upon discovering that he isn't around, she moves to a hotel.

Prince is shaving when he hurts him himself. Rani sees this and gives him a bottle of dettol. She then remembers how Raj had once tried to pretend to hurt himself so that she'd come closer to him. Prince's phone rings and she goes out. Prince answers his phone and Kaka informs him of Kamya's arrival. He also tells him that he has some work in the office. After speaking to him, Prince asks Rani whether it's be fine with her if he goes to the office but Rani tells him that it's up to him to decide.

Nitin works on a file when Saloni tells him to have lunch but he tells her that he has to finish his work. Saloni tells him not to bring his work at home but he tells her that it isn't his but Tina's. Saloni feels a bit jealous on hearing Nitin praise her (he does it to irritate her). Just then, Tina calls and apologizes for making him finish her work and asks him whether she could do anything in return. He tells her that he really loves the stuff (sorry, I forgot what's it called…) she cooked the other day and wants her to prepare it for him.

Manoj buys Rajendra's medicines and gives them to Surekha. Aarti's mum sees the bill and is shocked to discover that it's a bit expensive. Prince then enters and tells Surekha that he got a job. Manoj congratulates him and asks him the name of the company. He says, 'Thappar Group of Industries'. Manoj tells him that he heard a lot about it; then asks him his boss's name. Prince says, 'Prince J. Thappar'. Surekha asks him whether he also happens to be Kaka's boss. Prince says yes.

Tina visits Nitin and Saloni at home. Saloni is a bit jealous and stays as close as possible to Nitin. Tina tells Saloni that she's lucky to have a husband like Nitin, who's both honest and helpful. She then tells Nitin that she brought him what he asked her for (something she cooked). Nitin tells her to teach Saloni how to make it. Saloni pinches him.

Prince meets Kamya but she doesn't speak to him. He then tells her everything about Raj's accident. Kamya then tells him that he shouldn't worry over a little thing.

Karan tells Rani that Komal's lawyer told him that Prince had helped a lot with Komal's case by providing him with the proofs. He then tells her that Prince is a very rich man and may have easily compensated her for Raj's accident but he told her the truth and is looking after Raj's parents. Rani however tells him that Prince's mistake is too big that he can never make up for it.
