I don’t think she’s in love with akshat, basically anu has like a list in her head which most of us do of the person we want to have as our life partner. Also, how he should treat her, the love, the validation and etc. u know the requirements list

Virat didn’t check the list but she fell in love with virat with all his flaws. Now comes mr. Akshat which checks all the boxes. So, she’s like yeah this guy works for me.

He cares for her, he puts her first, he gives her love, he gives her validation, her family loves him, he speaks well, he treats her well etc.

Anu likes Akshat but still loves virat. And her heart is smiling seeing him changing and like all of us, we are scared what if virat go back to square one. Shes playing safe and guarding herself from another breakdown. Anu is choosing akshat is like she is compromising.

Another thing Virat has always been honest to Anu. He shared everything with her. Every woman he had, she knew about it. He told her about his struggles, his parents, his mother, even took her to his grandparents. he shared it all with her. He tells her things in a harsh way, which many people doesnt like. He tells her what’s best for her. If he starts telling her these things is a nicer way- anu will accept it and the audience will.
