Thanks for taking out time and replying to my post Aneesa, appreciate it😊Don't worry, I love the fact that you've written so much.
Logically speaking if these guys come up with a Season 2, it makes absolutely no sense to not have both Parth & Vibha in it as well. But like I said, "logically speaking" and I have my doubts about this PH's sense if logic.
That doesn't mean we should stop trying, we should keep trying to get VibhArth back in S2. Yes, LB retweeting stuff about VibhArth is definitely a good sign. It also indicates that what experiment he had tried with this teacher student relationship has worked and it will definitely give him the confidence to bring them back in S2 as well.
You are not entirely wrong about expecting them to handle VibhArth's future story better they actually might, if they plan the next season well and don't go about things haphazardly as they did with the first season.
My experience with Indian shows, youth or otherwise is that post confession the story goes downhill. That was one of the reasons why I wanted VibhArth's story to go really slowly.
Honestly speaking, besides the quick realisation and rushed confession I didn't really have any problems with how VibhArth's story was shown. I liked the fact that that they showed genuine care, friendship and trust between them. I was actually surprised, so maybe if VibhArth are there in S2 we maybe can expect a little sensitivity from them in handling their story thereon.
It was interesting knowing your first opinion about VibhArth.
I used the term "disgusting" because apparently that's how a lot of people felt about VibhArth's relationship.
I feel anything but disgusted watching VibhArth😳You are right the age difference between them is not obvious. They got the casting absolutely right with Anupriya & Laksh. Laksh looks older than his age so the difference in age is not obvious (seems negligible) which is a major reason why we could overlook the fact that they are teacher student.
AnuLak look very good together and add to the fact that their characters are well written and well performed (by Anu initially & then by both of them later on) also adds to the likability factor of VibhArth.
I think people took time to warm up to them and their different relationship but slowly and surely they have warmed up to them. I see some SidYali fans also write nice stuff about them which is heartening.
The fact that they got the casting right I think solved half of their problems. I don't see this relationship working with any other combination of actors on this show.
What's interesting though, is the fact that though Parth & Vibha as characters are subdued and their scenes were more the cute and sweet type, their chemistry was anything but that. AnuLak have crackling chemistry together though the scenes they got were the exact opposite.
It would be a pity if we don't get to see them and their chemistry again either as VibhArth or then in a brand new show.
Hey Anam 😊
I'm sorry about replying so late but I've been a bit busy the last few days. Sorry 😕
Again, I agree with what you've said. As in that would definitely be the logical thing to do. Also, after my last post I got to thinking, remember you said that Hindi dramas don't do much with a couple post confession, or rather they don't handle them well. Well while that's true, before Vibharth are a couple they are individuals as well (although we like them together). So they could show stuff with Parth and Vibha. They are main characters after all. Although as you've said before I also feel they have sort of sidelined Anupriya and Vibha even though she is one of the better characters if you don't mind my saying. What about the boxing championship, his relationship with his mother, the dynamic between him and his stepfather, his anger issues? They haven't really explored what he'll do after school, what's he going to go into? I remember you said that Hindi drama writers don't care much for character development but what about Uttkarsh. Despite Niti and Siyali, I don't feel like Uttkarshs character really works without Parth. I don't just mean their bromance, but simply their interaction with each other makes up a lot of the show. As cheesy as it sounds, I was going to say they complete each other although that sounds like more of a line for Vibharth, but they do, just in a different way. Parth is the serious, angry and tough one, while Uttkarsh is friendly, chipper, gentle and more chilled out. Yin and Yang. Does that make sense? I don't think the show could do without Parth and Uttkarsh together. Well, it probably could, just not well.
And Vibha, what about her? What about the struggles she and her family are going through? They can't just leave her storyline there, it's so very, in every sense of the word, incomplete. Again, I suppose they can leave it there but it would definitely not be wise. Although we have come to the conclusion that the CV's, LB and the channel are lacking in the sense department, to put it nicely. Vibha is also a warrior, right? The silent warrior. They've showed us her Dhadhi but no one else from her family. She still hasn't completed her education. What is she going to teach for the rest of her life? Or will she complete her studies an do something else? And where can she find a job with an incomplete English degree?
I'm just saying they could show Vibha and Parths characters storylines progress and Vibharth's relationship is a huge, gigantic, enormous bonus. 😳
Their storyline would also please fans and keep them watching giving them higher ratings which they would want. Despite them trying new things with Warrior High, it seems they are like the rest of them and mainly just care about ratings And the channel obviously does. Given the noise we're all making regarding Vibharth I think that can see how important they are. So logically, if there is a S2, there should be Vibharth, not just for us but for their high ratings. But like you said we can't trust their 'logic'.
Also, keeping Anupriya in the show is a brilliant decision, period. Her acting skills are a LLOOOTTT more polished than others and her expressions are wonderful. She really does the character justice. And like you've said Laksh's acting has improved immensely. And he's gotten quite a large following now, so keeping him is also a good idea as you know his fans will watch. I think Laksh has improved his acting because of the constant criticism. Which is a good thing (the improving part not always the criticism though) but I feel like everyone comparing his acting to Anypriya's is one of the reasons they don't seem as close as he is to the others. He definitely seems to get on better with the other new comers which is understandable. But it is quite sad that they've in a way, slightly been pitted against each other which I feel may have caused some insecurities on Laksh's part and maybe some distance between them. He did call her Ma'am in the interview. Who does that? She's only a few years older, she's younger than some of the other actors on the show like Juhi Aslam, I think. I know it doesn't matter but I do wish they were closer. Maybe they will over time, I recall you giving an example of that a while back, I really hope they do. Oh well, it's their life. And I'm glad we got to see them onscreen and will hopefully continue to. Sorry, about the whining. I know this has all been discussed before but I just wanted to add my two pennies worth. 😕 😳
You're right, they definitely hit the jackpot with AnuLak as Vibharth. 👏 ⭐️ 😆
I don't see this relationship being as popular and interesting as it is if any other actors were playing the roles. I also don't think the relationship would be a interesting if the teacher was male and the student female like in Pretty Little Liars (remember when I said I though Warrior High seemed like it was a copy of American teenage dramas, I thought they may have copied PLL with Vibharth). I know that seems sexist and like a double standard. But I don't mean it in that way. Maybe it's because Vibha is so caring and friendly. And Parth also cares for her, protects her, yet sort of looks up to her as well. I'm just rambling now. I don't know how to explain it, but their dynamic just works, you know? 😕 😳
And I remember thinking that too, you know what you've said about their scenes and chemistry. Out of all the couples they are the least out there and their scenes are very caring, gentle and sweet. They were loving towards each other without knowing or meaning to be. Yet their chemistry is the most intense. Maybe it's because Parths character is angry and tough and she's quite warm, chirpy and caring and she sort of softened him up a bit and brought down his walls. Their chemistry is definitely the best out of all the pairs.
Okay, I know you said you don't mind the long reply's, but this one is definitely pushing it. So I'm sorry. I can't help but rant about them on the forum.
Again I'm incredibly sorry about this. 😕
But thanks a lot for reading. I appreciate it. 😊
