Things that irk me.

Marathoned the show, FINALLY. I like it. For the music, the energy the characters bring & how real they are. But there are some things that are irking me. Just have to let it out.

1. The constant hints towards Vibha/Parth. Whether its Indian TV or American TV, I am not at all for a teacher/student romance, especially when that student is just a minor. A big NO. There are certain boundaries set when a teacher & student enter an institution. Their relationship is sacred. Yes, one can fall in love with anyone, at any age. But if you look at Parth (or most teenagers for that matter), they are emotionally unstable at this age & are unable to make the best decisions for themselves. The teacher, on the other hand, holds an influential position. This makes such a relationship unequal. There can never be valid consent in such a relationship, where the teacher is clearly in a position to exploit the emotional vulnerability of the student. A teacher, more specifically Vibha, should remain as a guide & facilitator to Parth & the other students in the institution.

2. Night call? Like seriously? What is the purpose of this entire track? It really looks dumb. Firstly, all the students are running around in circles at that corridor cum entrance. Is the school really that small? Secondly, the teachers are not saying anything? OK, its a tradition. Fine. But its clearly some form of ragging. Ragging is ragging, whether it leads to serious consequences or not. What are the CVs trying to show? Especially when this kind of a show is watched by youth across the nation. Are they trying to send the message that ragging is alright, in the name of a tradition?

3. Charlie picking Niti up time & again. I admit the first time I saw it happen at the train station, it looked funny. But what is the difference between Charlie & the other guys who were picking Niti up? Even though Charlie was doing it to save Niti, both did it without her consent. IMO the CVs are clearly making a mockery of short girls like Niti. Just because she is short, its not right for Charlie to keep picking her up. Its not funny. I really hope Niti's character is not reduced to someone present for comic relief only. There's so much potential in her character. She's one of my favourites on the show so far.

4. Siyali's arrival in Warrior High. Isn't the orphanage worried as to where she is? And what about the authorities in Warrior High? Such a big institution & they just let her in without even cross-checking? What ever happened to Sid mentioning that they won't be allowed in if they were late? I didn't even see any gates.

Bas. That's all I have to say. The team needs to work on the writing of the show. This show has potential. Hope that it won't disappoint in the long run.

Hi, awesome post. I like the points you mentioned.

One thing is the school building, it was promoted as something big and amazing and now the set is quite dull. That's why I feel the whole running around the night call time was a bit overstretched. The night call thing as u said is ragging, especially the way it was first talked about. But they named it as tradition and because its a show and nothing too bad happened I didn't mind what they showed. The only point I see of this night call is introducing Ayaz and some rivalry with Sid.
the teacher-student thing is a big no for me too. Doesn't matter how old Vibha is, for me it doesn't feel right that they end up together. Siyali and the whole orphanage thing seemed like a blooper. Maybe the orphanage might contact WH or from now they will never even mention the orphanage 😆
Niti is definitely not for comic relief at least that's what I want it to be. She is strong and can face the challenges head on. I really like her, and I hope they show more about her. And I agree with you I think there should be no more lifting scenes, if the CV's want Charlie & Niti to interact they have to be other ways.
And sorry for writing a bit too much, I was going in the flow😳

Ah! I can't express how great the music is! I love the characters, they do seem real. 😛

1. The constant hints towards Vibha/Parth. Whether its Indian TV or American TV, I am not at all for a teacher/student romance, especially when that student is just a minor. A big NO. Exactly! I will never ship Vibha and Parth unless he turns 18 and he's not her student. I don't care if they look 'good together' {because what does that even mean??}, he is in HER care, and he is emotionally vulnerable at the moment. I don't want to see almost kisses or whatever 'love' moments between them. It's just wrong. I want her to mentor him, in fact I want her to mentor the juniors because she is actually near their age but still an authority figure.

2. Night call? Like seriously? What is the purpose of this entire track? It really looks dumb. Firstly, all the students are running around in circles at that corridor cum entrance. I think the night call thing was to show depth to the school. I think it wasn't ragging. The teachers were involved, and seeing as they said it was a tradition, I don't think we should class it as ragging, as in plain bullying. If this happened outside of the 'tradition' then I would totally be against it. I think it was just a way for the seniors to show their seniority and for the juniors to do something about it {also a way to show the senior/junior conflict at school?} But it depends on what happens after. If the seniors continue to 'mess' with the juniors more than they did here, then that would contradict the whole night call thing (that it happens only on the first night). ALSO. that school! WHY IS SO SMALL? 😆 what they showd in the promos and what they showed in the real was a world difference! But that may have to do with budgeting costs >.<

3. Charlie picking Niti up time & again. I admit the first time I saw it happen at the train station, it looked funny. I love Niti and I really hope she isn't there for comic relief! But I also think she'll grow as a character. She has her downs but she accepts them. She just doesn't understand why people can't just accept her. I feel for her. About her and Charlie. Okay the first time it was hilarious because it was so out of the blue. The time he saved her from the seniors I thought it wasn't needed but then I realised how he placed her on top of a wall or something? That shot. She was looking down on him. Even if it was subtle or the director didn't intend it to, I really do like how when they were talking, it was him looking down on her, but the opposite. I do think Charlie is just like that. He also picked up that senior and hung him around his shoulder, didn't he? He just has a habit of picking people up?

THAT was the biggest blooper. The gates and the late coming thing. Like why?
