How can Raj think that a girl who is in love with him killed his brother? It's just illogical. Do murderers fall for someone who they know is their victim's sibling? How can he think that she killed Raman even though it would put her own sister's life in danger. Does Raj seriously think that Preet wanted her own sister to get shot (by Harjeet)?😡😕
His behaviour towards her is just disgusting. He needs to realise that no matter how much he hates his wife, he has no right to continuously abuse her the way that he does. This isn't the same as enmity between two men or two women. It's just wrong for a man to do that to a woman who is obviously much weaker than him in terms of physical strength. Not being sexist but it's been mentioned many times in the show that Preet's strength is in her intelligence, not her arms. What he does to her is unfair. He used to be distressed by the fact that his father beat his mother up but he's doing the same thing! Just what is he going to tell his children in the future? 'I used to beat your (step/)mother up but it's okay because she didn't really mind and I thought she was my brother's murderer?'
Another thing. I've noticed that he always avoids telling SD the truth about his feelings for both her and Preet. Whenever Preet comes up, it's never a 'no, I don't love her' but always a 'I hate her'. It's not the same thing. He also tells SD that she's a nice girl, that she's special/precious to him but he never says 'I love you' which is just low. Why? Because he's not being honest with her! He's just using her to hurt Preet! She's no less than a tool, a pawn. If he wants her help to get rid of Preet, he should first tell her that his love for her is just an act and then let her decide whether she wants to help him or not. He's just toying with her emotions here!!!
Having said that, Sakshi would probably still want him even if he told her that he didn't love her right to her face. She did say she wants him at all costs. She doesn't even love him, especially not when she's willing to drug him to take advantage of him.
Moving on to Preet... where has her self respect gone???? I know that she wants her revenge and her husband's 'love' but is this the way to go about it? Begging him is clearly not working so why doesn't she change tactics? By ignoring Raj and focusing on clearing her name, she'll not only retain what's left of her self respect but she'll also be able to clear the massive misunderstanding that's stopping Raj from loving her! Is it so hard to realise this fact??? What's she got to lose? Is stopping the relationship between Raj and SD so important that she's forgotten about herself? When she finally proves that she didn't kill Raman then Raj come running after her anyway! He might even dump Sakshi! If not, she can be dealt with later but at least the misunderstanding will be cleared!
Gosh, Preet, wake up! Imagine how distraught your mother would be to see you in such a state. If not for yourself, then do it for her! Isn't that what you entered BH for in the first place? To avenge your mother's (and your own) insult and make her Shah of all of the clans?
