I don't get Yuv--could I hate him?

Men--either you love them or you hate them. Of course, there is an in-between: when you don't get them. So that is my dilemma.

Yuv's not your normal guy. He's much more attuned to the people around him, sweet, cute. I'm not sure where he got this martyr complex from but he really ought to rethink it. Can't go through life like that. When you come across the next woman who has been violated or terrorized, are you going to marry her too?

Please help me understand him. First, he's deeply in love and is so in many respects still. Then you got this bizarro Kul and this silly but not surprising twist. What is he thinking? Like he knows what is the right thing to do for everyone??? Who the hell does he think he is? Has God blessed him with that power--you know-- that we know nothing of like that pandit???

I like him, but I'm beginning to get annoyed with his self-righteous attitude. He is the lamb that has made himself and just about everyone a sacrifical lamb.

And, finally, he married Tanya. In his head, do you think he wants a man-wife marriage with Tanya with perks?

If you could answer or address any of these questions, I would so appreciate it. Yuv said he wants everyone to be happy, not just he and Trish. Got it. A goal! I like a guy with goals!

But, em.., who's happy? The amount of tears, reaching flood levels. And if I'm taking a short-term view, please forgive. Because from where I am, noone is happy except Kul. Now I can say this much about the longer-term: there is no way in hell they're all going to be the happy sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughter-in-laws, and daughters.

I daresay Yuv's utterly IDIOTIC way of handling things has made a mess of everything. Before you had 1 daughter traumatized and voila, now you have 2 not to mention the other two, who are torn in between. Mr. Kohli would like to beat the sh*t out of him at some point. Kul, of course, is salivating at her daughter joining the big leagues. Grand home, grand bank account, grand family that Kul is now part of, grand husband, grand everything....but how about the woman you love suffering right now. Worth it?

Wouldn't it have been better to deal with things differently? And forget about the family honor crap. What about the honor when everyone finds out anyway!

Can you imagine the family dining table??? The looks, the reproaches, the discussions! Baapre. I'd rather sit on the little kids table!

I am very black and white.😳 So there is no middle for me. Either I like someone to the fullest or I dislike them!😆 There is rarely rarely rarely a grey area for me.😃

I like Yuv! 😳He doesn't make me mad. I only got mad at him once so far.

I don't expect them to start being happy tomorrow. It takes time to get over something and get properly settled. And about marrying Tanya and becoming martyr, he was going away from trish anyways, just needed a reason. Tanya provided him the reason. I am sure he doesn't think marriage is the solution to a rape victim. That wasn't his intentions. He wanted to protect Tanya from Kanaiyah as he cares about her. And that was the best wat to take Tanya away from kanya forever!

I get where U R coming from. Even i am starting to find Yuv annoying i like him but not that mcuh now. I like a guy with a backbone i suppose someone that knows what they are getting themselves into. Yuv just made everything worse instead of good and nobody is happy. Rajdeep will find out in no time. Trish well don't get me started there. He's just dug himself a hole thats too deep to climb out.

Like doesn't Yuv feel utterly disgusted as someone else touches the woman he loves? Doesn't he just want to take her away? No, he just sits and watches like a voyeur. And praying in the club for Trish's happiness--he is so condescending. He sacrificed that poor girl. He brought about the pain, the utter shock to her face.

Yuv can think he did the right thing--whatever that means in his warped reality. But I will always dislike this character a bit because he made decisions that were not his to make for others. Seriously, who does he think he is?

I do hope Trish makes it tough for him. Because if they were alone, they could not keep something from happening.

Actually for me reading Yuvi is very fun! I can understand the decisions he made, they are like embedded in his personality. Its like being a savior is a part of him. He made the decision, because he felt that it was right, and I think his relationship with Tanya had a very strong inner base, so maybe if it was someone else he wouldn't have made the same decision. But he was going to move away from Trish anyways, so everything is did for me is understandable. I don't know if I am even making any sense but yeah.

Yuv got married to Tanya, because he cared for her and because he wanted to go away from Trish.

Besides, he cant now consume his marriage with Tanya. WHy?

Because Tanya might get affraid onec again. Besides he might still care/ love Trish so it might be difficult for him to start romancing with Tanya. 😉
