When Sushant's mom call him, he sees the number on the cell smiles and picks up the phone saying "Ma".... then he asks her u reached home?. then they show his mom talking on the code less phone in his house. So when he checked the caller id before picking up the phone he shud have known it is from his house, so y was he so shocked that his mom was calling from his house, unless she had taken the code-less phone to wherever she went😉
