The phone rings at some hour of the night. Vedant picks it up. A man wants to speak to Vasudha; he has information about Sandhya. When Vedant asks further, he says he is a detective hired by Vasu t look for Sandhya. Though he could find no clue, he called up to give the daily report. Vedant asks him to keep searching, and sits down wondering what to make of his Vasudha di.
At the mata ki chauki, Vedika is thinking, "Sushant, I know you will never leave me; and though you don't love me now, someday you will love me more than you ever loved Vasu, because I deserve to be loved more."
Vikram is thinking bitterly of Sushant's words. Shreya is praying for strength to bring up her unborn child alone. Vasu is telling Mata Rani that she has given a sign of Her existence by saving the child. After the ceremony, Vedika deliberately tries to put tilak on Vikram but he backs off. She taunts him saying that despite becoming ACP, he is still a miser. Vasu comes up at this moment and sincerely wishes her a happy future. She also tells Sush that he has risen in her estimation. He says he is still the same, but she has sunk.
Since there is talk of marriage dates, Vasu takes Vikram aside and says her second condition has still not been fulfilled. He says it will be done within the next 24 hours.
When Vasu comes home, a tearful Vedant asks for his old didi back. She says that that Vasu is no more; and if he wants to honour her memory he should take care of her brother and her bhabhi.
Shreya and Naina meet up. Just then Naina's phone rings, and some unknown voice talks to her. Shreya asks her who it was, and Naina says it was a wrong number. But she sneaks off to meet the caller, who is none other than Vikram. He shows her her marriage certificate with Sid, and asks her for the whole truth.
Sid is awakened by his cellphone ringing insistently. Naina is calling, saying Vikram has found out that they are married. She is leaving right now and asks him to meet her at a certain place. He says he can't; she puts down the phone in anger. Meanwhile Shreya is searching for her jewellery, which is missing. Nani and Vasu come the scene. The jewellery was in the cupboard, and the key used to be with Shreya. Vasu asks her if it was a duplicate key. Shreya says yes, there is one with Sid. He angrily asks her if she is accusing him. She says that if it is not found, she will call the police. He says that she has shown that her jewellery is worth more to her than her husband. Vaus asks him to at least show the duplicate key. When he searches, he can't find it. He leaves in anger.
Meeting up with Naina, he tells her what happened. She shows him the jewellery that is with her, saying that it is the most they could hope to get from the house anyway, and now they are free of the Rai Singhanias. They stop at a hotel where he desk clerk assumes they are there for some "fun" and winks at Sid, who grows furious. Naina says they are married and shows him their marriage certificate. Sid takes her aside asking why she is carting it along. She says that Vikram showed it to her last night. They enter the room and Naina asks him to come closer. Just then there is a knock on the door.
Preview: Shreya is yelling at Vikram, saying he is trying to shield Vasu by accusing Sid. She knows the face behind the burkha. Vikram asks her how she knows, unless she was there herself?
