Vasu is crying her heart out when she sees that Sandhya's pallu has caught fire. The entire family rushes to douse the flames. Sandhya faints; Shreya calls an ambulance. Sandhya opens her eyes briefly before fainting again. They rush her to hospital. Vedant is very upset; Vasu goes to the deity to pray for them. Just then someone comes and puts his hand on her shoulder; it is Sushant. He says it was Shreya who informed him; since she is too busy these days to keep him updated about her life. Vasu feigns indifference and moves away.😡
Sandhya regains consciousness. Vedant wants to talk to her but she is feeling embarrassed because of her burns. He asks her if she would have done that to hi had he been the one affected. Just then the doctor comes and asks Vedant about the reports. On coming to know that he hasn't seen them, he calls him for a private talk. The doctor tells Vedant about Sandhya's tumour and that she has only 6 months to live. Vedant is devastated. He says he won't let anyone else know about this. He will take Sadhya to the best doctors and make sure she lives. On going back to Sandhya, he puts on a happy face and jokes around.😭
Vasu is preparing the rangoli for the new couple's grihapravesh when Sushant comes and stands before her. He tells her that behind the words she spoke that day, there was a lot unspoken which he could hear clearly. He knows it was someone else putting words into her mouth. Vasu tells him it was no such thing; and that Vikram is the only one in her life now. Vedika overhears this.
The new bride's grihapravesh takes place. Everyone is happy, but only Vedant knows of the lurking danger. At the first chance he starts searching for the reports. He finally finds them in his bedroom and sets them on fire.
Sushant is writing a letter to Vasu saying that he knows she is facing some major problem all alone which she doesn't want to share with him…when the phone rings. Some informer wants to give him a major piece of news. He calls him to a hotel room. Sush goes there with his camera and rings the bell. As soon as the door opens, he clicks a few snaps……then stares in shock.
