Vikram wants to marry Vasu and if she does not marry him he will send Shreya to jail for killing DRS . Since Vasu had promised her dad she would save Shreya she had to agree to Vikram and hence break of her relationship with Sushant.

Vikram wanted to take revenge against Vedika as she insulted his love by comparing it to status. So to spite her he wants to marry Vasu but he has always liked Vasu
