Vasudha is talking about Vedant's and Sandhya's wedding, even though Vedika disapproves. Their relationship is finally formalised with a roka ceremony. As per tradition, Sandhya prepares kheer for the whole family. Sensing an opportunity, BVedika poisons it. When Vedika is asked to eat the kheer, she refuses, asking Vasudha to taste it, saying that Sandhya might have poisoned the kheer. Vasudha eats the kheer and starts to choke and gag.
