Sushant storms into the DD office and flings his resignation before Vasudha. She is too shocked to react. Sushant says that he knows she got his bail done, and he doesn't want to take any "ehsaan" from her....so he has not put any date on the letter. He will continue working till he has paid off his obligation; and then, Vasudha can accept his resignation.
As he is leaving, he stumbles and Vasudha holds him to steady him. They exchange painful glances, but he leaves. Pandeyji who is present tells Vasudha that he can't understand why both of them are bent on punishing themselves. Vasu tells him to talk abt the DD. Pandeyji says they can't get the insurance till the police report is filed. Vasu says its no use then as Vikram Agarkar is handling the case. They have to search for some other means.
Devyani is trying to explain to Sushant that he and Vasu still love each other, but he says if someone leaves you and never comes back, it means they were never yours to begin with. Vasudha overhears this and looks sad.
Shalini tries to ask Vedika abt Sushant-Vasu's relationship, but Vedika tells her to leave it to time. Just then Shreya is readying to go out; Vedika tells her to be a little more considerate of the situation in the house but she snaps back.
Vikram comes to know that his subordinate Bonsle has got a prmotion. He is puzzled, but the officer tells him that such things are accomplished through poilitical connections. Vikram remembers what Sushant had said abt the traitor in the midst; he calls Bhonsle to ask him who gave him the prmotion. When he refuses to divulge, he suspends him.
Aditya brings flowers for Vasu to cheer her. He offers to give her money to tide over her problems, but she doesnt accept. He says that whenever she needs money, she can always ask him.
A financial advisor calls Vasu. He says that to buy new machinery for DD, she will need to mortagage some personal property. Vasu decides to put their house on mortgage. She goes to DRS's study to get the file, but Vedant is there and asks her what she is doing.
