Sinha taunts rai that he knows that he (Sinha) could black mail him about uttara… Sinha says that if there was something, he wouldn't stop Shushant from printing that article.. Sinha asks him to remmebr that even if one word spilled out from that file, Rai too wont be spared… if his seat goes, he wont spare his iamge either.. He will publise about shahlini.. And all of his hard work of creating this newspaper will go.. Sinha gets up and warns him that he can get this political career back on track, but it will be hard for him (rai) to be this way again.. Sinha leaves the room.. Shushant hides behind the wall and wonders whats going on…
At night.. Vasu sits alone on the sofa.. Vedant comes there and questions her.. Vasu asks him to leave.. Veadnt questions her and asks her if she and Shushant had a fight.. Vasu asks him to leave.. Vedant says that he will talk to Shushant.. Vasu says that Shushant might feel bad.. Vedant says that if there is something that he can do… vasu says that Shushant doesn't trust her, to talk about his problems.. Vvedant replies that may be Shushant wants to protect her from all the problems.. Vasu says that she is still srtong to handle all this.. Vedant asks her to cheer up.. As there is nothing his sister cant handle…
Sinha is still in his office, he opens Sinha's file and thinks about what Sinha and uttara said.. He keeps the file in his bag… Shushant sits on his bike outide the office… thinks about Sinha talking about uttara, shahlini, uttara lieing to him, etc… he thinks that shahlini is such a question that has no answer.. And the ones who have an answer are quite.. He wonders who to ask… later, he goes to vasu's house.. Devyani opens the door.. And asks him what is he doing so late at night??? Shushant says that there is something he needs to talk.. Devyani taunts him that what is a man like him who is just got engaged is doing here.. Shushant says that he needs to ask her who is shahlini malotra.. Devyani says that she doesn't know.. Shushant feels disappointed and is about to walk out of the house.. Devyani stops him and says that may be she can help.. Shushant says that his mom, rai and Sinha are linked up with this name… devyani says that rai used her too, and gave her the PAGE 3, job in return.. He asks her how did Denik Darpan start?? Devyani replies that it didn't work well before, but then some controversial story began and the newspaper flourished.. She adds that she can find out about this and let him know.. Shushant leaves.. Devyani thinks that finaly she has a reason to take revenge from rai..
Rai comes home.. He sees vedika sitting on the sofa drinking.. Vedika remembers uttara telling her about shahlini.. She gest uncomfortable.. She remembers the story… and feels very unesay.. Rai stands near her and questions her.. Vedika gets up.. Rai grands her should.. Vedika drops the glass and hurts her foot.. Rai says that its bleeding… vasu and vedant come there.. Rai looks confused and says that she is hurt.. He keeps repeating that… vedika asks him to shut up and not come near her.. Vedant takes her from there.. Rai and vedika keep starring.. Vasu questions him.. And then asks him to take rest, as she'll get food… rai looks at the bottle.. And says that something is different, she is always drunk but there is something wrong today…
Vedika calls uttara and says that she could see shahlini's image on his face.. He tries to hold her, but she backed out.. She felt very disgusting.. She begs her to get Shushant and vasu marired soon.. Uttara asks her to not get worried otherwise rai might get a hint..
The next day… vasu gives rai his bag.. Just then uttara comes there and says that she is here to talk only for a few mins.. Uttara goes to get something for her.. Vedika comes there and looks at them.. Rai asks her to talk fast.. Uttara asks him to get Shushant and vasu get married as soon as possible.. Rai says that they just got engaged, whats the rush?? Uttara says that she knows that she cant trust rai.. Rai says that he is happy that she doesn't have any false impression of him.. Just then vasu comes there.. Rai changes his tone.. Uttara says that she wants the wedding to happen within a month.. Rai gets furious.. Uttara leaves.. Vedika looks on…
Shushant is at deviant's place.. Devyani says that she spoke to a retired reporter.. And the controversial story was related to some NGO at Kanpur, pratap use to run that.. Who is shahlini's father.. Shushant says that he was born and brought up at Kanpur, but didn't hear about such a place… devyani says that she has something for him.. But what will she get in retrun.. Shushant smiles and says anything except for hi.. Shahlini winks and says that fine, he can it as his engagement present.. She gives him kanpur's address.. Shushant tells her that no one should know that he has gone to kanpur…
Preview: Shahlini is no where to be found at home… Sinha tells Dhairya's brother (Sorry, forgot his name), that if he gets his file from Rai's office, he will give Dainik Darpan to him…
