This VM was done up a couple or so days ago... but I only just managed to log in from my dear good old laptop first time in so many hours... (have had running around to do for a close friend's wedding day after, and thankfully I'm not internet deprived with my new phone, but loading IF pages is still... well, painful!)

ps: I need an important feedback. So I've done this VM in two versions (both uploaded here) - with, and without lyrics) Please see both, and tell me which one is overall better (yeh, I have personal opinion about it too, but I'm not too sure that is the majority verdict - so be sure to tell me!)

That said, here's the VM, in time for Christmas on a world wide timezone scale 😆

Underlying story: AR were together in a music band (yeh yeh let imagination run wild), then they fell apart when the vocalist, Ridhima, went on to med school (lets assume for her dad's sake). Armaan (the drummer, cause I've always had a thing for drummers in rock bands :D) doesn't deal well with things at all, and ended up getting into med school too (lol, if only med school admissions were such a cake walk in real life!) anyways, so he goes back in part vengeance, and part deep pathos at having parted ways with Ridhima, and overall because he really wants some answers... In the process, he finds himself falling in love with her all over again, and more... for all his vain trying to get over R keeps getting stuck deeper into the mire... [personally, I think that's how it really was even in the show in a different predicament although]...and every moment with her, even the estranged ones, are like moments he clings to, helplessly - the ending is happy, and abrupt too I think, but you can just assume Ridhima starts weakening in her resolve to stay away, or simply cracks up with all her high ideals and comes back to him - 'singing' :P

ps: I first heard this song on a road trip with my girl gang, and for some 20 times or so, annoyed them with getting it played back to back. Just for the heck - cause road trips instill a recklessness, that make you like things out of character, and do things even more so :D

Oh well. It played up on my IPod again, and I decided to make this VM on a whim. Nothing great really...

oh wow! I really loved the concept and vms...may be I'd have been little confused had I not known the concept but watching the vms after reading the concept made a lot of sense and you did a fabulous job.

thanks sanju! I'm glad you could relate the descrp and the vm well - and I thought it wasn't self explanatory enough on its own which is why the description even came up... initially, it was just a VM based off the show's plotline... oh well! thanks for the quick comment!

I saw both the versions..and just because you're asking, I think I liked the second one better! I still have no idea why, but it felt like a moving scrap book (sorry, I have a personal bond with scrap books..weird, i know! 😕)

P.S..I have this fascination for drummers too! =P

And coming to the vm, I really really liked it! I like the way things are blended and are not slow! But I wish you put on the description later on rofl cause unfortunately..(you can call it my curiosity =/).. I read it before I saw the vm! sighh

But still..I did like the vm! To be honest, I didn't know what to expect, so far you've been more of a writer..and more importantly I've been more of a reader so I had no idea what exactly to expect! BUT I'm glad I actually liked..more than liked what I saw! Its like a mini montage of memories and incidents and that may also be a reason why I liked the one with subtitles better! (And I would specially want to thank you for providing subtitles like captions! =D)

Aitee so I guess this is what I have to say for now! (Its 2.50 am and the first thing I'm doing after a party..and obviously after watching this vm is posting this for the 3rd and hopefully the last time! Thankfully I had enough experience to copy it the second time =P)

If I have more thoughts on this, I might come back and fill up this little box! =D

P.S. Next time include the description somewhere I can't find it..or better? Make it invisible for me! rofl I like to guess the story first and then read what it actually can be! (Although I pretty like this band tangent!) =D

can i begin with saying that the length and analysis of this comment really makes me happy? like a bonus present from Santa or something - cause this is just a VM thread, and I'm really quite an average VM maker in terms of the expansive scope of this particular field, so I don;t actually expect... well, such humbling feedback 😳

(not that you hear me complain! I feel so happy and proud 😆)

anyways, coming to your comment on liking the second better, so I personally thought it would hlp (especially for this song cause its fast) to push in quick lyrics for those who don't actually know the song... but there's an equal trade off in terms of distracting a viewer's attention from the scenes themselves... and because both things matter significantly, I couldn't say which one would be better from a viewer's POV - so thank you to push in your vote!

Also, I personally thought the VM was confusing without a description (as in, I had a back story in my head, but wasn;t certain if it was evident enough) so I pushed in a description - but I note your point hereon! the description shall come post VMs, if you don't get vetoed on this issue by too many viewers :P (i totally know what you mean by the curiosity aspect though, i hate to know even the previews or back reviews on a book i'm going to read... so yeh!)

and well - merry christmas, even as you're almost past it - and yayyy you again, for the lovely feedback!

I loved the version without the lyrics more...and btw your description of the vid, really made me imagine a FF for real :P lol ..I love the idea a lot!

Oh my Anita!!! I can't say how exciting the idea of being on the AT front page is - because really, VM making is not my forte! its more of the stress buster, whenever writing is being a pain! But this such a wonderful surprise, I'll definitely pop into the AT once its running and active, but until then, thank you so much! Makes me feel much better at this, then I personally think I am! =)
