Whenever I try to import a video in Windows Movie maker there always comes a dialouge box saying,"Your file is not a supported type."My files are in FLV format.Is that the problem?

Hey I need 1 help from Sony Vegas Users

I wanna know how do we merge 2 scenes @ d same tym in 1 frame..

For example...I recently saw dis VM-- made by[desigirl09]

Dear Flv is a video type wich cannot be used in movie maker u have to use wmv or convert that

@jonaki: yes thats a problem b/c wmm nor any other vid mixer will take taht file type... no worries though..that can be easilly fixed..just download this converter and change ur file type to .mp4 of something liek that an it'll be fine :)

@namu: use the cookie cutter effect..just place one vid in one time frame then the other on another time frame exactly above the one you have then on the top one choose the cookie cutter effect and play w/ the setting sto get it where u want ;)

Guys..
I want to know that while making a VM if in one clip i want the sound from the original clip an din the next clip i want sound from the audio.. What should I do??
I use WMM...

^^only way i can think of is first use teh clip that u want from the video to put in the sound timeline..render that as an .mp3 format and once u ahve that just use it as u would a music file..
