i searched on wikipedia about shivaji maharaj. shivaji married 8 times. he loved his ist wife sayee bai most . he had 4 children with him 3 daughters and a son. shivaji and sayee bai shared close relationship, but when shivaji married soryabai , she was deeply hurt along with shivaji she controlled her emotions and attended his marriage.. sayee bai was ill from the time she gave birth to sambhaji. sambhaji was 2 year old when she died.shivaji loved sayee so much that when he died he was again and again taking the name of sayee bai. she was said to be a great beauty, wheatish in complexion. she had wisdom as it is shown in the serial, she died at an early age of 26. shivaji was greatly impacted by her death. shivaji was 11 and sayi bai was 7 at the time of the marriage. her maiden name was sayeebai nimbalkar.
